- A current Minnesota Dental Assistant License is required.
- Certification is required to apply dental sealants, perform gingival cord displacement, and monitor nitrous oxide in Minnesota.
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification is required through the American Heart Association health care provider course, the American Red Cross professional rescuer course, or an equivalent course.
- Assist the doctor in providing quality dental treatment and education to patients.
