Otovo and InCharge Energy partner to offer solar, battery storage and EV charging services across U.S.

Otovo and InCharge Energy partner to offer solar, battery storage and EV charging services across U.S. Launching in California, Arizona, Texas, and Florida, with additional state launches planned by the end of 2026 HOUSTON & LOS ANGELES-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Otovo ASA (Euronext Oslo Børs: OTOVO; "Otovo"), a leading provider of behind-the-meter energy services for homes and businesses, today announced a service partnership with InCharge Energy ("InCharge"), a trusted national provider of EV charging installation and maintenance services. By combining their service offerings, which together span more than 100,000 energy assets, Otovo and InCharge can provide commercial customers with a single service relationship covering solar, battery storage, and EV charging equipment across key U.S. markets. Together, Otovo and InCharge will offer each other's preventive maintenance plans, with each company dispatching its own technicians, expanding the footprint and capabilities of each service provider. Otovo will bring its Endurance(TM) AI platform to the shared work, so a job originating with either company is logged, dispatched and closed against one record of the site. Each company continues to sell and perform under its own brand. "We built this partnership around a simple idea: a customer shouldn't need multiple vendors just because their energy assets came from different systems," said William J. (John) Berger, Chief Executive Officer of Otovo. "By joining forces on commercial energy service, we can seamlessly integrate work orders through Endurance(TM), giving customers one call and one relationship instead of separate vendors and contracts for every system on site." "Technology alone doesn't keep critical energy infrastructure operating - it takes highly-skilled people in the field," said Rich Mohr, Chief Executive Officer of InCharge Energy. "Otovo and InCharge have both made significant investments in technical talent and electrical field service capabilities, and we will continue to invest as these systems become more critical to our customers' operations. By utilizing InControl(TM) and Endurance(TM) together, we can bring better asset intelligence to our field teams and enable a more proactive approach to how EV charging, solar, battery storage and supporting electrical infrastructure are managed and maintained." The partnership draws on established scale on both sides. Otovo currently services more than 60,000 customers, and InCharge's InControl software platform connects and supports more than 40,000 EV charging assets across more than 1,060 completed infrastructure projects. In 2025, InCharge's team completed more than 24,000 support cases, resolving approximately 80% of charger issues remotely, with the InControl platform maintaining 99.99% uptime. InCharge's broader network spans every U.S. state and Canadian province, supported by regional sales and service offices in Los Angeles, CA, Richmond, VA, and Fort Worth, TX, and includes more than 100 field service staff. That scale underpins the companies' plans to expand this partnership into new markets. Work orders will pass directly between Otovo and InCharge, with Endurance(TM), Otovo's industry-leading AI platform, handling intake, dispatch and scheduling on the Otovo side. Each company will act as a reseller of the other's preventive maintenance plans in the launch geographies, holding its own customer relationship. Pricing on the reciprocal plans is matched between the companies. The partnership addresses a structural gap for commercial sites carrying multiple energy assets. A property with rooftop solar, battery storage, EV chargers and a backup generator typically holds a separate contract, a separate response commitment and a separate point of contact for each one. About InCharge Energy InCharge Energy is a full lifecycle energy infrastructure partner, delivering EV charging, electrical and lighting, and distributed energy solutions. InCharge supports customers from initial concept and construction through long-term ongoing operations and maintenance. By providing one accountable partner across the energy lifecycle, InCharge Energy helps organizations operate more reliably, scale with confidence, and reduce total cost of ownership through best-in-class service and maintenance. About Otovo Otovo is an AI-Native behind-the-meter energy services company serving homes and businesses across 15 European markets, Israel and the United States. Otovo combines equipment monitoring, rapid repairs, dependable power supply and grid participation in one service. Endurance(TM), Otovo's AI platform, monitors installed equipment, optimizes service from problem detection to resolution and coordinates repairs around the clock. "Your Power, Backed by Ours(TM)." InCharge Energy raises $46M to expand EV charging and energy infrastructure platform across North America

InCharge Energy has raised $46 million in a strategic investment led by S2G Investments, with participation from QIC. The funding will support the company's expansion beyond EV charging into broader energy solutions, including electrical infrastructure and distributed energy resources. InCharge operates one of North America's largest multi-brand EV charger service networks, managing over 30,000 assets for fleets, school districts and municipalities. Its proprietary InControl software platform resolves roughly 80% of charger issues remotely and manages the entire energy infrastructure portfolio, including battery storage, solar and electrical distribution equipment. The investment will scale InCharge's national field services division, accelerate InControl platform development and support expansion into broader energy solutions. IMPROVED Corporate Finance served as financial adviser, whilst Gunderson Dettmer provided legal counsel.

Workhorse, InCharge Energy build unified support model for EV fleets.

Workhorse, InCharge Energy build unified support model for EV fleets. Workhorse and InCharge Energy will launch a joint customer support program in Q4 2026, giving commercial fleet operators one point of contact across vehicles, charging hardware, and software. Workhorse Group and InCharge Energy will launch a joint customer support program in the fourth quarter of 2026, giving commercial fleet operators a single point of contact for issues spanning vehicles, charging hardware, and software. The program operates under the Workhorse brand but draws on InCharge's field technicians, Support Operations Center, and software platform. It targets a recurring pain point for early fleet electrification: diagnosing whether a problem originates with the truck, the charger, or the systems connecting them. Highlights. * Service launches in Q4 2026 across North America, with a toll-free number distributed to Workhorse customers and dealers ahead of rollout * Tickets route to one of three destinations: a Workhorse regional field technician, an authorized dealer, or the relevant third-party hardware or software provider * Workhorse has delivered more than 1,100 vehicles to date, accumulating over 20 million real-world miles across customer fleets * Union City, Indiana plant has annual capacity of 5,000-plus vehicles on a single shift How the support model works. Specialists trained on Workhorse vehicles and the broader commercial EV ecosystem handle the initial assessment. From there, the ticket is routed based on the source of the issue. Vehicle problems go to a Workhorse regional field technician. Issues involving upfits or aftermarket components route to the customer's authorized Workhorse dealer. Anything tied to charging equipment, telematics, or other external hardware and software is handed to the relevant third-party provider. The single-call structure is designed to keep Workhorse aware of field issues regardless of where they ultimately resolve. That visibility matters for an OEM still scaling its installed base, where pattern recognition across early deliveries can shape engineering and service decisions. Why the diagnostic layer matters. Fleet electrification remains early enough that fault isolation is genuinely difficult. A vehicle that won't accept a charge could point to the truck's onboard charger, the charging hardware, the site's electrical infrastructure, a communications protocol mismatch, or a software setting on either side. Sorting that out without expertise on both sides of the connector typically means multiple vendor calls, finger-pointing, and downtime - the metric fleet operators care about most. InCharge brings hardware-and-software fluency across the charging side. The company has previously deployed its 19.2 kW Dual ICE-80A Level 2 charger for fleet applications and partnered with DLL on financing-and-maintenance bundles aimed at lowering total cost of ownership. The Workhorse arrangement extends that service-and-maintenance posture to vehicle-side troubleshooting under another OEM's brand - a model uncommon in commercial EV. Executive commentary. Scott Griffith, CEO of Workhorse, said: "Major fleet operators expect not only a great truck, but OEM-grade customer service. This partnership is a direct response to that expectation. We're putting it in place now so we can scale it in concert with our growth, ensuring our customers never feel a gap." Griffith added that the company projects significant growth in deployed Workhorse vehicles by year-end 2026 based on deals announced earlier in the year. Rich Mohr, CEO of InCharge Energy, said: "Fleet operators don't need another call center: they need expertise and accountability. Our team brings together people, platforms, and operations into one coordinated model. By powering Workhorse customer support with our field technicians, Support Operations Center, and an advanced software platform, we're helping customers move past complexity and get back to operating their fleets." Context for fleet operators. Commercial EV adoption has produced a fragmented support landscape, with fleet managers often coordinating across separate vendors for vehicles, depot charging, networked software, and energy services. Recent industry moves - including Octopus Energy's Octopus Fleet platform consolidating UK fleet charging services and EO Charging's Genius Fleet lifecycle service - point to consolidation as a competitive answer. The Workhorse-InCharge model differs in pairing an OEM directly with a charging-and-services provider rather than bundling under a single vendor's roof. For Workhorse, scaling support before delivery volumes climb addresses a well-known weakness in commercial EV: fleets that pilot a handful of trucks may tolerate vendor coordination, but those scaling to dozens or hundreds will not.
