Northside says its maternity service delivers more babies annually than any other community hospital in the United States; patients receive inpatient and ambulatory care through its hospitals and outpatient facilities. The system combines clinical services with research and community education, and traces its operating roots to the 1970 opening of its Atlanta flagship; its headquarters are in Atlanta, Georgia.
