- 7+ years of experience building and deploying production-grade systems, including 2-3 years of experience building Generative AI or agentic applications.

Rather than focusing only on where information is stored, the debate now extends to the infrastructure on which AI runs, the ownership and governance of models, and oversight of outputs generated from local or sensitive datasets. The issue has become more pressing as businesses adopt generative AI and other advanced systems in customer service, operations, compliance, and internal decision-making. For many organisations, especially in regulated industries, the key question is no longer simply whether to use AI, but whether they can do so without losing control of data, model development, or deployment.
