Requirements
  • Completion of 40 college credits or possession of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Tutoring experience and ability to work effectively with children.
  • Comfort working in a classroom setting.
  • A clear FBI-DOJ background check, provided through the company.
  • A clear tuberculosis test.
Responsibilities
  • Work with groups of students without support from a teacher or school site staff.
  • Prepare the area before each tutoring session.
  • Pick up and drop off students from designated areas at the school site when required.
  • Take attendance and conduct lessons through the HeyTutor Dashboard when applicable.
  • Document student progress using the HeyTutor Dashboard.
  • Facilitate baseline and summative assessments when requested by the manager.
  • Lead groups of students in tutoring sessions using the provided curriculum and materials.
  • Create an engaging environment that fosters students' sense of belonging.
  • Support students in making positive behavior choices.
  • Engage and interact with students during tutoring lessons.
  • Clock in and out of Deputy daily for shifts.
  • Perform other duties required by the company, manager, or school site.
