About the job
- A completed degree, for example in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, international trade, or law, or an equivalent qualification.
- Substantial practical experience in export and import customs and very good knowledge of customs and trade compliance.
- Experience with international goods flows and supply-chain processes.
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear, practical standards and processes.
- Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including warehouses, production sites, customs brokers, and authorities.
- Very good German skills for communicating with authorities and very good English skills for international collaboration.
- Develop and establish a group-wide framework for customs and trade compliance.
- Create standards, policies, and control mechanisms for customs, export controls, sanctions, and international trade regulations.
- Serve as the central contact for export and import customs matters and support warehouses and production sites with customs-related questions.
- Ensure consistent, compliant implementation through clear requirements, documentation, and training.
- Design processes across international goods flows, clarify responsibilities, and manage risks in the transfer from manufacturers to Fielmann.
- Support implementation of relevant requirements under the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act.
- Work closely with warehouses, production sites, Legal, logistics partners, and customs service providers, and coordinate exchanges with authorities.
- Monitor regulatory developments, identify compliance risks, and drive continuous improvement of customs and trade-compliance processes.
- An additional qualification in customs or trade compliance is advantageous.
