  • Build the inbound surface exposing Caseware capabilities to external agents and clients over Model Context Protocol and adjacent protocols, including authentication, scope enforcement, and rate limiting.
  • Build and operate the on-premise connectivity path, including session lifecycle, request correlation, and recovery for long-lived sessions between cloud-hosted agents and on-premise desktop clients.
  • Implement session and scope propagation from agent to gateway to target to backend so authorization is correct and auditable at every step.
  • Design and evolve OpenAPI contracts for gateway targets and target runtimes, maintaining consistent conventions regardless of the target.
  • Implement outbound authorization for gateway targets, including IAM/SigV4, OAuth, and credential providers, to securely and consistently control access to each target type.
  • Maintain versioning of target contracts as they evolve so consuming teams and customers are not broken by changes.

Reimagining Client Requests Caseware is also introducing a Client Requests capability that enables auditors to collaborate more closely and effectively with clients throughout the engagement workflow. At its core, this is an agentic-first experience - a contextual intelligence layer embedded within the end-to-end assurance workflow that is smarter, more powerful, and governed AI designed for the unique needs of the assurance profession. The result is a wholly reimagined client experience: clients gain a clear view of what's being requested of them, while auditors gain confidence in the completeness and accuracy of what's returned - the first step in a workflow that carries through to the workpaper itself.
