Talos's Coin Metrics Data now accessible via Amazon S3 and Snowflake Cloud Delivery. September 8, 2026 Product Update: Read whole datasets from your own environment, with 10 datasets published daily as Apache Parquet files in Amazon S3 and as queryable tables in Snowflake. Talos is introducing Cloud Delivery, a new way to access Talos's Coin Metrics Data. Instead of requesting data via the API, clients can now read whole datasets from their own environment, with 10 datasets published daily as Apache Parquet files in Amazon S3 and as queryable tables in Snowflake. Its users' data consumption follows two predominant use cases. The first calls for a specific market over a specific interval, returned on demand. The API serves this use case through targeted queries, real-time streaming and access to the latest observation within milliseconds. The second calls for an entire dataset to be resident in the user's own environment, where it can be scanned repeatedly across successive pieces of analysis. For example, multi-year backtests, full order book reconstruction and data lake ingestion are bulk transfers that fall into this category which Cloud Delivery is well suited to address. Availability in Amazon S3. Cloud Delivery publishes 10 datasets as Apache Parquet objects, refreshed daily. Users read these objects from their own AWS account using existing tooling, including the AWS CLI, the AWS SDKs, DuckDB, Spark, Athena and Glue. Objects are organized using Hive-style key=value prefixes by market type, exchange and date: s3://talos-data-daily/ data-type=market-trades/ market-type=spot/ exchange=coinbase/ dt=2026-07-28/ *.parquet Query engines discover these partitions automatically and eliminate prefixes that cannot satisfy a given filter, so a read scoped to a single exchange and date resolves against a small number of objects rather than the full dataset. Retrieving a day of trades requires no client library and no pagination: aws s3 cp \ s3://talos-data-daily/data-type=market-trades/market-type=spot/exchange=coinbase/dt=2026-07-28/ \ ./trades/ -recursive -request-payer requester Other query engine tools can equally read the prefix in place, without a download step. Availability in Snowflake. The same 10 datasets are exposed as tables within the user's own Snowflake account through Secure Data Sharing. Users mount a read-only database, grant access to their reader roles, and query it using standard SQL. Partition columns are exposed as ordinary columns, so filtering is conventional: SELECT dt, market, price_close, volume FROM coin_metrics.EXTERNAL.market_candles WHERE market_type = 'spot' AND exchange = 'binance' AND frequency = '1d' AND dt BETWEEN '2026-01-01' AND '2026-06-30'; The database name is chosen by the user when the share is mounted. No pipeline development is required and no data is copied. Dataset coverage. Ten datasets are published: market trades, candles, quotes, order book snapshots, order book updates, reference rates, and current catalogs for markets, assets, exchanges, and pairs. Coverage is as follows. * Trades and candles. 48 exchanges, across spot, futures, and options. Candles at eight frequencies, from one minute to one day. * Quotes and order book snapshots. 29 exchanges, across spot and futures, at raw granularity and full book depth. * Order book updates. 5 exchanges, across spot and futures. Additional exchanges can be added on request. * Reference rates. All covered assets, at one-second and one-hour frequencies, against USD, EUR, ETH and BTC. * Reference data. All covered entities. Each dataset is produced once daily and covers the preceding UTC day. Column names and definitions correspond to the fields returned by the API. For the market-level universe behind each dataset, see the Coverage Tool. Access and onboarding. Cloud Delivery is available as a limited release, with general availability to follow. It is provisioned per user. Existing clients can contact their Talos sales representative or account manager. Teams not yet working with Talos can reach Talos at [email protected]. Full documentation is available for Cloud Delivery, including per-destination guides for Amazon S3 and Snowflake, covering schemas, partition layouts, update schedules and query examples. QCP strengthens its institutional trading infrastructure with Talos. August 7, 2026 Introduction. QCP Group needed trading infrastructure that could match the institutional standard it holds itself to - supporting client execution quality, liquidity access, risk controls, pricing and market data. QCP partnered with Talos to consolidate key components of its trading architecture onto a single institutional-grade platform, extending QCP's capabilities in a way that complements its proprietary expertise and client-first approach. The result is a more tightly integrated trading environment that has enhanced the scalability and resilience of QCP's execution and risk workflows. The company. Established in 2017, QCP Group is a leading digital asset partner in Asia, operating specialized entities to address the dynamic needs of the digital economy. They provide tailored solutions across derivatives, stablecoins, OTC spot trading and structured products to institutional, professional and accredited investors. Each QCP entity brings industry-leading knowledge and operational excellence, supported by a team of experts in trading, business development, risk, and compliance. Headquartered in Singapore, QCP Group has a growing global footprint with offices in Abu Dhabi, New York, Kuala Lumpur and Ho Chi Minh City. The challenge. As QCP Group's institutional digital asset franchise continued to scale, the firm evaluated how best to architect its trading infrastructure to match the standard it holds itself to. The firm required trading infrastructure that could support trading operations that already demanded the highest level of client execution quality, liquidity access, internal risk management controls, pricing, and market data. The solution. QCP partnered with Talos to enhance and consolidate key components of its trading architecture onto a single institutional-grade platform. The result is a more tightly integrated trading environment that extends QCP's capabilities without compromising the proprietary expertise and client-first approach at the firm's core. Through Talos Dealer and WhiteLabel, QCP delivers institutional counterparties a branded trading interface and API connectivity with real-time pricing and electronic execution. This is while retaining full control over pricing rules, client segmentation, and routing configuration. Talos connects QCP's coverage desk, risk desk, and external liquidity counterparties within a unified workflow, enabling dynamic risk management with account-level segregation, clear P&L attribution, and auditability. Rules-based routing - configurable by instrument, order size, and market conditions - delivers consistent execution across all market environments. QCP's proprietary pricing engine is fully integrated into the Talos aggregation layer alongside external liquidity sources, preserving QCP's market-making capabilities while expanding the pricing universe available to its traders. Talos market data, including volatility surfaces and FX reference data, supports QCP's derivatives pricing, analytics, and risk workflows within a single, consolidated environment. The results. By adopting Talos as part of its institutional trading infrastructure, QCP has enhanced the scalability and resilience of its execution and risk workflows without relying solely on internally built systems for every component of the trading stack. The implementation has helped QCP: * Provide institutional clients with a more seamless electronic trading experience through API and branded interface access * Consolidate access to selected liquidity sources within a single execution workflow * Improve coordination between client-facing and risk-management functions * Support clearer account segregation, auditability, and P&L attribution * Reduce operational fragmentation across execution, pricing, and market data workflows * Preserve flexibility for QCP's proprietary pricing, market-making, and risk-management processes. Rather than replacing QCP's internal expertise, the Talos platform operates as an infrastructure layer that supports the firm's ability to scale its institutional franchise while maintaining control over trading decisions, client coverage, and risk management. "Digital assets are no longer a standalone market - they are becoming part of the broader capital markets infrastructure. Institutional participants need robust systems to trade, manage risk, and operate with greater transparency across that transition. Talos has been a valuable partner in building that infrastructure with us, in a way that fits how we uniquely operate." - Darius Sit, Founder, QCP Group "We're proud that our partnership with QCP provides them with the scalability and resilience of an institutional-grade platform that complements their proprietary expertise and client-first approach. We look forward to continuing this partnership as QCP advances its institutional franchise across the globe." - Samar Sen, Head of International Markets, Talos The future. As QCP continues to deepen its institutional franchise, the firm expects infrastructure, workflow automation and post-trade processes to remain important areas of focus. Looking ahead, QCP will continue to evaluate opportunities to further enhance operational efficiency across areas such as settlement workflows, collateral management and financing-related processes. Talos will remain an important part of QCP's trading infrastructure, supporting the firm's ongoing focus on scalable, resilient and institutionally robust digital asset markets. How does the Talos and STS Digital integration benefit institutional traders? The integration of institutional crypto options into the Talos platform provides a seamless bridge between sophisticated trading technology and regulated liquidity. By embedding STS Digital's pricing directly into the Talos workflow, firms can now reduce operational friction and eliminate the need for manual connectivity work. Furthermore, the partnership grants access to a Bermuda-regulated principal trading book, ensuring that trades are executed with institutional-grade risk management and credit terms. CBUAE payment license What specific liquidity and asset coverage is now available? Through this partnership, Talos clients gain access to a massive range of digital assets that were previously difficult to source at scale. How does this move strengthen the digital asset ecosystem? This collaboration follows STS Digital's recent $30 million funding round and its strategic expansion into structured products. By joining the Talos Provider Network, STS Digital scales its end-to-end institutional offering across both traditional finance and crypto-native ecosystems. The move signals a maturing market where multi-dealer connectivity and regulatory compliance are no longer optional but are essential requirements for the next wave of institutional capital entry into digital assets. Ff news take: This integration definitely moves the needle by solving the persistent problem of fragmented liquidity in institutional crypto options. By bringing a Bermuda-regulated principal dealer like STS Digital into the Talos ecosystem, the industry takes a significant step toward professionalizing the altcoin derivatives market. For institutional players, the ability to trade complex instruments within a familiar, high-performance interface is the key to unlocking broader adoption and deeper capital commitments. Talos, an institutional digital asset infrastructure provider, has integrated with Kalshi, a CFTC-regulated financial exchange, to bring prediction markets and perpetual contracts to institutional trading platforms. The integration allows institutional clients to access Kalshi's event contracts and crypto perpetuals through Talos's existing interface without separate integration. The partnership provides market makers and hedge funds with Talos's algorithmic trading suite, including tools designed to minimise market impact. The platform supports multi-leg execution for spread trading and offers a request-for-quote system for block trading off-exchange. Talos plans to expand its dealer software solution later this year, enabling brokers and trading platforms to offer Kalshi event contracts to their customers. The company also intends to provide a unified market data feed across prediction market venues. Cantor, the global investment bank, advised Talos on developing its institutional prediction markets functionality.
