At D2L, we are looking for Software Developers who graduated in 2025 to help us advance our goal of using technology to transform teaching and learning around the world. Our software is used daily by millions of people around the world and we need developers who are up to the challenge that this presents. We need these developers to work on a wide range of technologies including, but not limited to: distributed systems, automated test development, user interfaces, mobile and cloud computing. As a developer, you will help make dreams a reality.
Software Developers at D2L have a passion for technology and code. Beyond code, developers are expected to collaborate closely with others including technical product managers, designers and test developers. Your ideas and perspectives are essential to making sure we are building the right things
What you’ll bring to the role:
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; completed in 2025
D2L operates in a hybrid work style, with expectation of 3 days per week in office.

The expected base salary range for a new hire in this role is listed below. The annualized base salary offered is determined by each candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, training and experience. It is aligned to ensure both internal and external competitiveness using market data for the geographic location and industry. As part of the total compensation at D2L the role may be eligible for additional benefits including a Wellness Subsidy, Equity Grants, Variable Incentive, and more.

Base Salary Range 75000 - 85000 CAD
D2L provides Brightspace LMS, a cloud-based learning management system used by K-12 schools, colleges, and corporate training programs. It operates on a subscription model where institutions pay recurring fees to access core tools for course management, assessments, performance tracking, and student engagement, with additional add-ons. Educators build and manage courses, students access materials and assignments, and the system records progress and outcomes. D2L differentiates itself with a large, diverse user base, a comprehensive, scalable LMS across multiple sectors, and ongoing updates and support. The company aims to improve learning outcomes by offering an accessible, reliable, and adaptable digital education platform.
