Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior managers through credibility, sound judgment, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in assessing business situations, recommending solutions, and balancing competing priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer proficiency with Windows-based applications including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of employment and labor laws.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Five to seven years of progressive Human Resources Business Partner experience, including at least two years of leadership experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required.
  • A valid driver's license or successful completion of the Club's internal motor vehicle training program is required.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders by providing consultative Human Resources support for organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce planning, talent development, employee relations, and change management.
  • Lead and develop an HR Coordinator and foster a collaborative, high-performing, service-oriented culture.
  • Consult with leaders on organizational design and team effectiveness.
  • Partner with leaders on initiatives supporting the employee experience for Augusta National employees.
  • Lead workforce planning by identifying capability gaps, creating proposed staffing models and organization charts, and executing the workforce planning process with the business.
  • Manage the Club-wide performance management process, including coaching check-ins, performance appraisals, and calibration phases.
  • Support talent development by identifying competencies, required experiences, and network connections; create and drive talent development plans.
  • Manage the intake, review, approval, and staging phases for promotions with business leaders.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues and advise leaders on complex employee matters while balancing business objectives, legal compliance, organizational culture, employee experience, and risk management.
  • Guide employee transitions and departures, including knowledge transition, offboarding activities, and exit interviews.
  • Manage payroll allocation and team overtime spending.
  • Participate in project teams and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Research legislation and employment trends that may impact employees.
  • Perform other projects and duties as necessary.
  • Work the normal schedule of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Desired Qualifications
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or another HR certification is preferred.

IBM and the Masters Tournament have announced new AI-powered digital features for the 90th Masters Tournament, running 9-12 April at Augusta National Golf Club. The enhancements mark the latest development in a 30-year collaboration between the two organisations. Masters Vault Search, powered by IBM's Granite small language models and watsonx Orchestrate, enables fans to explore over 50 years of final round broadcasts through conversational prompts. The system uses optical character recognition, speech-to-text transcription and scene detection to locate specific moments within full-length replays. The enhanced Hole Insights feature now provides real-time, shot-by-shot analysis during the Tournament, calculating historical scoring probabilities based on exact ball position and contextual performance data. The feature was developed with input from legendary caddie Jim 'Bones' Mackay.
