Develops nanocoatings to enhance manufacturing performance
Forge Nano develops and applies Atomic Armor, a proprietary nanocoating technology, to manufacturing products such as semiconductor wafers and high-surface-area powders. Atomic Armor coatings are applied at the nanoscale to surfaces to boost performance, enabling faster-charging batteries, more stable rocket fuel, longer-lasting medicines, and improved durability of components. The company differentiates itself with a scalable, industry-grade coating platform that works across a range of materials, backed by its origins in the University of Colorado ALD lab and its progress from lab to commercial deployment. Its goal is to help manufacturers boost product performance and sustainability by applying durable nanoscale coatings at scale.
