Requirements
  • 6+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with a significant part as a full stack developer
  • Experienced with cloud-based system development and deployment, AWS preferred
  • Experience working with both monolithic and microservices architectures
  • Proven experience with being a coach and a mentor for team members and helping them grow
  • Experience with maintaining and improving performance, reliability, and scalability of systems
  • Be a leader in system design; provide technical direction and mentorship for more junior team members
  • Enjoy shipping code early & often in an agile fashion, pairing with product management to craft better software by soliciting feedback from thousands of end users
  • Authorisation to work in the UK without restriction
  • Klaviyo offers hybrid working, you would need to be commutable to our London office 2 days a week
Responsibilities
  • You will take a leading role in designing and building out features that let tens of thousands of Klaviyo customers better understand their deliverability metrics and messaging practices
  • You will architect and build systems that help customers action on poor deliverability metrics
  • Be responsible for the mission, technical direction, and day to day operations of product features that have a large impact
  • Mentor more junior engineers and set the example of best practices for your team
