Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead complex software deployments and architect customized enterprise-grade cloud and Android solutions for key enterprise customers.
  • Work directly with enterprise customers to resolve high-stakes technical challenges, support deployments, and drive product success.
  • Influence internal engineering teams and drive the architectural vision and development of core solutions addressing complex customer pain points.
  • Analyze, design, develop, and maintain software solutions for organizational products and systems.
  • Lead system integration of software and hardware to ensure consistent performance and program reliability.
  • Develop, validate, and test software functionality and user documentation.
  • Establish requirements for moderately complex software design projects.
  • Prioritize features to ensure the most impactful features are implemented first.
  • Lead and participate in code reviews, proactively identifying and addressing issues early in the development process.
  • Complete all phases of moderately complex software design and development projects, including in-process and final inspections to meet quality standards.
  • Develop and test documentation for software projects, including design specifications, code comments, and user manuals.
  • Apply current technologies and innovative approaches to enhance software designs and implementations.
  • Review and refine existing software or firmware designs, identifying optimization and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to technical problems across multiple technical domains.
  • Develop custom tools or scripts to streamline analysis, debugging, or problem-solving processes when needed.
  • Lead hands-on deployment, technical development, and validation of Android and cloud-based solutions during high-stakes customer pilots.
  • Conduct technical workshops, customize solutions, and guide the rollout of devices and software into live mission-critical operations.
  • Review customer workflows, system use cases, and deployment environments to identify integration bottlenecks.
  • Develop, diagnose, debug, and troubleshoot complex software and device-level issues directly in the field.
  • Review, design, and write code spanning local Android applications and backend cloud integrations.
  • Integrate device-side Android applications and cloud solutions, ensuring secure connectivity, robust application programming interface integrations, and smooth data exchange with cloud backends and third-party enterprise databases.
  • Use approved AI coding tools to accelerate troubleshooting, write efficient code, and optimize application performance.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior personnel.
  • Build professional networks with senior internal and external stakeholders and engage in inter-organizational and customer-focused discussions.
Desired Qualifications
  • An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience with Android development, including the Android software development kit and Kotlin or Java, is preferred.
  • Experience with Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure is preferred.
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent AI coding assistants is preferred.
