Requirements
  • An Associate's degree or 60 hours of college credit with 4+ years of experience in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management internally and with external customers.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve customer issues.
  • Manage orders and shipping activities between manufacturing plants and from manufacturing plants or distribution centers to customers.
  • Manage demand-management actions as needed to meet the monthly plan, including order activities between manufacturing plants, the sales team, and external customers.
  • Check and analyze pricing discrepancies, plant capacity for available-to-promise, and credit status, and coordinate with customers, sales representatives, and the materials department to ensure correct orders.
  • Update existing orders when changes occur and coordinate with the other parties involved.
  • Ensure the accuracy of orders and shipment information in the Oracle systems.
  • Coordinate and communicate with multiple departments to expedite and deliver critical and past-due orders.
  • Monitor shipments to meet monthly demand targets and customer on-time delivery requirements.
  • Provide shipment confirmations and generate shipment lists and open-order reports.

Copeland acquires Dickson to advance cold chain intelligence for healthcare and life sciences

Copeland has completed its acquisition of Dickson, a Chicago-based provider of environmental monitoring and compliance technology for life sciences and healthcare environments. The deal combines Dickson's cloud-native monitoring platform with Copeland's controls and enterprise software solutions to enhance cold chain visibility and compliance. The acquisition strengthens Copeland's position across the healthcare and life sciences cold chain, from pharmaceutical manufacturing through distribution and patient care. Together, the companies will offer integrated environmental monitoring and compliance capabilities for highly regulated environments including biotechnology manufacturing, pharmaceutical distribution, and healthcare facilities. The combined technologies aim to reduce risk and product loss by providing actionable insights throughout temperature-sensitive supply chains. Financial terms were not disclosed. Copeland is a global leader in compression technologies and controls solutions with over 200 million installations worldwide.

By MechBiz On Sep 15, 2026 Copeland Canada is hosting its 8th Annual Apprentice Day for HVAC/R apprentices and students on October 24, 2026 at the company's Integrated Learning Centre in Brantford, ON. The event will include three training sessions led by instructors: Copeland Compressor Troubleshooting, Building & Refrigeration Management Systems, and Vilter Industrial Compressors. Participants will gain troubleshooting experience, and learn about Copeland's electronics, controls and Vilter technology. The day will also include raffles for tools and other prizes, and a mini trade show where attendees can network with industry experts while learning about new HVAC/R technology. A free breakfast and lunch will also be provided.

Copeland names Sandro Matic as president, Americas, and Gwen Cheramy as president, Europe

Copeland, a global provider of compression technologies and controls solutions, has announced two leadership appointments. Sandro Matic will become President of the Americas business on 1 September 2026, whilst Gwen Cheramy will join as President of Europe on 1 October 2026. Matic, who joined the company in 2011, has held various leadership positions across sales, operations, product management and general management. He currently serves as President of Europe and will continue in that role on an interim basis until Cheramy's arrival. Cheramy brings over 20 years of international leadership experience across commercial operations, business management and strategic planning, including responsibility for large, multi-country industrial and technology organisations in Europe and global markets. Copeland has over 200 million installations worldwide and employs approximately 18,000 people across 40-plus countries.

LOUIS (Aug. 26, 2026) - Copeland, a global provider of compression technologies and controls solutions, today announced that Gwen Cheramy will join the company as President of its Europe business on Oct. 1, 2026, and that Sandro Matic will assume the role of President of its Americas business on Sept. 1, 2026. Matic will continue to lead Europe on an interim basis until Cheramy joins Copeland. "Sandro and Gwen are both proven leaders with strong track records of delivering results within our industry," said Ross B. Shuster, CEO of Copeland. "In their new roles, they will be instrumental in providing leadership to our local colleagues, supporting our customers, and advancing Copeland's strategic priorities across their respective regions while helping execute our global strategy." Matic joined the business in 2011, initially with Emerson, and remained with Copeland through its separation and establishment as a standalone company. Over his career, he has advanced through leadership roles spanning sales, operations, product management and general management, most recently serving as the President of Europe for Copeland. He holds a Global Executive MBA from IE Business School in Spain and a bachelor's degree in International Business Administration from RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Cheramy joins Copeland with more than 20 years of international leadership experience across commercial operations, business management and strategic planning, including responsibility for large, multi-country industrial and technology organizations in Europe and global markets. She holds an MBA from Institut Supérieur du Commerce in France and a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom.
