Ball State University has upgraded its Esports Center with 36 high-end gaming computers and 40 chairs from Corsair, expanding the facility's technology for esports competition, classroom instruction and creative projects.
The technology supports work in media production, animation and game development, according to a community announcement.
"This technology upgrade provided through Corsair allows our Esports Center to meet the needs of students in competition as well as in the classroom," said Kristen McCauliff, dean of Ball State's College of Communication, Information and Media.
Corsair have announced the Sabre v3 Pro PureVector mouse series.
October 23, 2026
Corsair have announced both a new mouse and a new technology, PureVector. That new tech actually comes in their new mouse series, the Sabre v3 Pro and aims to improve the way you game.

PureVector may not sound like a fancy name, but it is an incredible tech as it is designed to significantly increase aiming speed and overall accuracy through personalised directional sensitivity.
The reason why they have come up with this is simple, one static DPI value is inherently a flawed way to play. Every player's aim is unique like a thumbprint and has directional biases due to natural biomechanical variations or musculoskeletal differences. Swiping left uses different mechanics than pushing right or pulling your mouse down, so every direction deserves its own dedicated DPI based on those differences. That's what PureVector detects and solves for, or at least that is what they claim.

Partnering with Aimlabs, an aim training platform focused on science-backed data, brings a data driven approach to a deeply personal part of gaming, how each player aims. With SABRE v3 PRO PureVector, Maxi-Geek is combining personalized aiming technology with high-performance hardware to help players aim more efficiently and play with greater confidence.
