- A valid commercial driver's license, Class A or B as applicable, is required.
- Experience hauling or moving heavy equipment between job sites is required.
- The ability to tie down and secure equipment according to standards is required.
- Working knowledge of commercial driver's license rules and Department of Transportation regulations is required.
- The ability to hold or obtain tanker and/or hazardous materials endorsements is required.
- General knowledge of heavy civil construction equipment and operations is required.
- Operate company trucks in compliance with Department of Transportation and commercial driver's license regulations.
- Safely haul materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with load securement requirements.
- Transport aggregate, asphalt, fuel, or water as required.
- Communicate with supervisors and field crews.
- Work safely in active roadway construction zones and traffic-controlled areas.
- Maintain knowledge of the company's values and strategic plan.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by management.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with construction equipment is preferred.
