Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end production for global events outside theater environments, including live presentations, concerts, corporate events, media briefings, and remote productions.
  • Define and implement scalable production workflows integrating live event production and film production while preserving creative intent from capture through delivery and playback.
  • Oversee camera and recording pipelines across iPhone, non-iPhone, and immersive capture systems, optimizing formats, frame rates, and codecs for each project.
  • Establish and maintain post-production best practices covering ingest, proxy workflows, editorial handoff, color grading, and final delivery across SDR and HDR formats.
  • Define and maintain end-to-end HDR production workflows from capture through post-production and final delivery.
  • Operate in film production environments and partner with directors, directors of photography, assistant directors, and department heads on creative intent and technical execution.
  • Lead lighting design and execution across cinematic and large-scale live event productions using DMX-controlled environments and advanced fixtures.
  • Oversee display systems and workflows, including LED pixel pitch selection, aspect ratio planning, content mapping, and processor configuration using systems such as Megapixel and ROE.
  • Direct audio strategy across live sound, broadcast audio, and film audio capture, including large-format SSL, Yamaha, and DiGiCo console environments, RF coordination, microphone selection and placement, Dolby Atmos, and spatial audio.
  • Partner with Technical Operations teams on signal flow, routing, and transport systems including SDI, ST 2110, and IP-based workflows, ensuring redundancy and reliability.
  • Design and implement power and redundancy strategies including UPS systems, generator backup, load balancing, and failover planning.
  • Lead location scouting and evaluate technical feasibility, including power, acoustics, lighting conditions, logistics, and infrastructure readiness.
  • Oversee mobile and agile production workflows, including advanced iPhone capture using Final Cut Camera and Blackmagic Camera App.
  • Manage production storage and media workflows, including SAN/NAS systems, high-speed ingest, data integrity, and backup strategies across on-site and remote productions.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing production team while establishing roles, responsibilities, and development paths.
  • Collaborate with creative, engineering, and executive stakeholders by translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable communication.
  • Own and manage large-scale production budgets, including forecasting, vendor management, and cost optimization.
  • Drive continuous innovation in production technologies, workflows, and tools to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability across global events.
  • Travel globally as required.

Apple's rumoured foldable iPhone is facing production challenges, with early manufacturing running at only a few hundred units per day, according to reports. The bottleneck stems from Apple's strict quality-control standards as manufacturing partners work to improve yields. TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously estimated second-half 2026 assembly shipments of roughly 7 million to 8 million units, with pricing around $2,300 to $2,500. Sept 3: BASF sued Apple on Thursday, accusing the iPhone maker of infringing the German chemical company's patented face authentication technology in many iPhone and iPad models. In its complaint, BASF's trinamiX unit said it spent the last decade developing technology to address a security gap that makes conventional face recognition systems vulnerable to spoofing, where fraudsters defeat face unlock features by using photographs, 3D-printed masks and silicone replicas. The complaint said Apple did not employ BASF's patented technology when it launched face authentication, known as Face ID, in 2017 with the iPhone X, but now uses it in a variety of iPhone 15, iPhone 16, iPhone 17, iPad Pro and other products. "Apple knew or should have known of the high probability that updating its iPhones and iPads to incorporate Face ID using material and skin detection" infringed seven trinamiX patents, causing "substantial damages and irreparable injury," the complaint said. BASF's lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in Midland, Texas seeks unspecified damages and a halt to further infringements. Apple did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The Cupertino, California-based company sold $196.5 billion of iPhones and $21.7 billion of iPads in the nine months ending June 27. According to the complaint, trinamiX's origins date from 2010, when BASF scientists working on organic solar cells made unexpected discoveries that led to the building of early three-dimensional camera prototypes. BASF created trinamiX in 2014 as a stand-alone entity to develop advanced 3D and material sensing technologies, and trinamiX holds more than 800 granted or pending patents worldwide, the complaint said.
