Requirements

Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

Operate X-ray equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body.
Provide nursing assistance and patient care for the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients.
Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting.
Perform patient-care duties within a multidisciplinary patient-care team as delegated by a physician.
Perform duties assigned by supervising physicians, clinical staff, and the Practice Coordinator after competency is established.

Desired Qualifications

Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
Two years of patient care experience in an ambulatory or acute care setting.
Expertise in ambulatory or physician office practice flow and activities, specialty-specific disease processes and conditions, in-office procedures, and patient education.

Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician. Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR).

PREFERRED

Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.

Two (2) years of patient care experience in an ambulatory or acute care setting

Expertise in ambulatory/physician office practice flow and activities; specialty specific disease processes and conditions; in-office procedures, and patient education.

Work Hours:

8 am- 8 pm
