MIP's Fibra E raises $220M in follow-on offering to expand Mexico energy infrastructure

Mexico Infrastructure Partners (MIP) has completed a MXN4.3 billion follow-on share offering for its Fibra E investment trust. The funds will support development and management of power generation facilities, including 13 power plants under the Fibra E structure. The offering attracted strong institutional support, with participation from Fonadin, Mexico's National Infrastructure Fund, and several Mexican pension funds. MIP and its operating company, Quantum Energia, will continue managing and expanding the power generation assets. The capital raising aligns with MIP's broader strategy to finance infrastructure projects and expand its energy portfolio in Mexico, responding to the country's growing electricity demand.
