Requirements

A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, with an emphasis in VLSI/IC design, is required.
At least 10 years of experience designing and developing mixed-signal IPs in data converters (ADC/DAC) is required.
Extensive experience in at least one area such as high-speed SAR, Sigma Delta ADC, or DACs is required.
Strong knowledge of analog building blocks, including references, operational amplifiers, active filters, and other linear circuit design, is required.
Ability to translate requirements into designs is required.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team is required.
Ability to build a professional network beyond IC design, including DfX, technology, and research, is required.

Responsibilities

Define specifications for analog mixed-signal IPs based on product requirements.
Own IP development end to end, and design and verify IP performance requirements using appropriate behavioral modeling, simulation, and verification tools.
Document designs and present reviews to peers.
Guide product teams on IP integration at the SoC level.
Perform or guide lab characterization and validation, yield improvement, and optimization.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.

Desired Qualifications

System-level design and modeling of complex IP such as data converters using MATLAB or Verilog is a plus.
Significant technical publications and patents are a plus.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer/Architect to lead the design and development of high-performance Analog Mixed-Signal IPs, with a strong focus on Data Converters (ADC/DAC). The role involves end-to-end ownership of IP development, from specification definition and architecture to design verification, silicon validation, and SoC integration. Job Qualification:

Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering from a reputable, tier 1 university with an emphasis in VLSI/IC design
10+ years of Extensive Experience in Design and Development of Mixed Signal IPs in Data Convertors (ADC/DAC)
Extensive Experience in at least one area, e.g. High Speed SAR, Sigma Delta ADC, DACs.
Strong in Analog building blocks, e.g. References, Op-Ams, active filter, other linear circuit design.
Ability to translate requirements into designs is a must.
System level design/modeling of complex IP like data-convertors, (using MATLAB/Verilog) is a plus.
Ability to work with a creative and innovative mind set both individually as well as in a team.
Able to build a network with professionals extending beyond IC design (DfX, Technology, Research, etc)
Having significant Technical Publications, patents is a big plus.
