What believers are saying

  • April 28, 2026 Reports launch targets recurring operating reviews, expanding enterprise usage.
  • Fanatics already uses Summation for executive reviews, proving real enterprise demand.
  • The 14-day trial and federated connections to Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks accelerate adoption.

What critics are saying

  • OpenAI, Microsoft, and Tableau can copy report generation, crushing Summation’s differentiation fast.
  • Fanatics concentration creates a fragile lighthouse customer; one churn event harms sales momentum.
  • If verification quality slips, enterprise trust breaks and Summation becomes another disposable AI wrapper.

What makes Summation unique

  • Summation links every insight to source data and logic, unlike generic AI summaries.
  • Its Playbooks standardize recurring analyses for MBRs, weekly reviews, and executive reporting.
  • Benchmark and Kleiner Perkins backed the Bellevue platform after the October 2025 launch.

Summation launches Reports for exec-ready AI analysis teams can trust and reuse

Summation, a decision-grade AI platform, has launched Reports, a capability designed to produce verified, executive-ready analysis for recurring business operations. The Bellevue-based startup, backed by Benchmark and Kleiner Perkins, counts Fanatics amongst its enterprise customers. Reports enable teams to create traceable, repeatable analysis for regular operating reviews, from monthly business reviews to weekly performance readouts. Each insight links directly to underlying data sources, allowing users to verify calculations without manual explanation. The platform uses Playbooks to standardise data sources, analytical logic and verification steps, turning ad-hoc reports into systematic processes. Summation integrates with existing data infrastructure and retains organisational context, including metrics and business logic, to improve precision over time. The company offers a 14-day trial for new users.
