About the job

Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in sales programs, sales operations, business development, sales readiness, or marketing within a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Experience designing and running sales or go-to-market programs end to end and demonstrating the uplift they produced.
  • Experience designing and leading demand generation campaigns or programs in direct partnership with field sales organizations, ideally across multiple countries.
  • A demonstrated analytical and quantitative approach to measuring, reporting on, and optimizing program performance, including familiarity with customer relationship management and pipeline reporting tools such as Salesforce.
  • Experience leading and developing a team, including across countries and time zones.
  • Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership.
  • Working knowledge of data-protection and marketing-consent rules, including GDPR, ePrivacy, and national variations, and how they affect outbound and demand generation in Europe.
  • A track record of driving cross-functional initiatives to completion across teams without formal authority.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and building where no process exists.
  • Excitement about Anthropic's mission to develop AI that is safe and beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience; a relevant field of study may be demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to EMEA Sales Leadership by bringing data-backed insights and recommendations to operating reviews, informing program and resourcing decisions, and shaping resulting strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze EMEA pipeline volume, conversion, velocity, and efficiency; identify funnel breakdowns such as lead quality, routing, or segmentation; and partner with Revenue Operations to implement solutions.
  • Shape a consolidated demand generation plan and calendar across EMEA inbound, outbound, and partner channels, aligned with regional and global sales priorities and pipeline generation targets.
  • Own go-to-market programs end to end in partnership with the field, translating leadership priorities into structured programs with objectives, owners, and milestones; carry programs from concept through launch, operations, and iteration; and be accountable for measured uplift.
  • Partner with Marketing, Enablement, and Sales Strategy to standardize playbooks and create an end-to-end approach to pipeline generation and progression.
  • Determine what programs to run across EMEA, localize by sub-region or language, or delegate to country teams, accounting for market-specific outreach and data-protection rules.
  • Introduce AI-driven insights into lead prioritization, forecasting, and opportunity management in partnership with analytics teams, surfacing predictive signals such as conversion likelihood and deal risk.
  • Define each program's measurement plan before launch, including its baseline, targets, uplift metrics, and attribution method.
  • Instrument every program into the go-to-market operating cadence so leadership can inspect results in business reviews.
  • Package effective industry patterns, use cases, and activation motions into repeatable plays sellers can run independently, and lead program adoption and communication as the sales organization scales.
  • Build and lead the EMEA GTM Programs team, developing people across countries and time zones.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience combining sales programs with marketing or sales readiness/enablement functions.
  • Experience designing measurement or attribution frameworks for go-to-market motions, such as pipeline-sourced and pipeline-influenced models, activation funnels, or experiment designs such as control groups and staged rollouts.
  • Experience working within or alongside a sales organization's operating cadence, including forecast calls, pipeline reviews, and account reviews, and making program results legible within it.
  • A track record of building and scaling operational frameworks in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Experience introducing AI or advanced analytics into sales or revenue workflows, such as lead scoring, forecasting, or predictive deal signals.
  • Hands-on experience creating AI workflows with Claude or similar tools, and comfort running and improving them at operational volume.
  • Experience leading programs through periods of go-to-market or organizational change.
  • Experience in a high-growth AI, machine learning, or other emerging technology company, and an understanding of how enterprises evaluate, adopt, and scale AI.
  • Experience as an early hire in a new function or team, helping define how it operates.
  • Experience with partner- and marketplace-led motions.
  • Fluency in one or more European languages.

About the company

Anthropic builds the Claude family of AI models and sells them to businesses, software developers, and consumers, with research on making AI safe and understandable at the center of its work. In 2024 it introduced the Model Context Protocol, an open standard for connecting AI assistants to outside apps and data that OpenAI and Google adopted the next year. People use the Claude app to write and analyze files, programmers hand coding tasks to Claude Code, and companies build Claude into their own products through its API. Anthropic earns money from subscriptions, business plans, and usage-based API fees. Siblings Dario and Daniela Amodei founded Anthropic in 2021 with other former OpenAI employees, and it is based in San Francisco.

What believers are saying

  • Sales are multiplying: Anthropic's yearly revenue pace topped $65 billion in July 2026, over sevenfold since December 2025.
  • IPO plans advanced: October 2026 reports describe investor meetings and a mid-November listing target; staff shares face lockups.
  • Lower office minimum: 627 of 646 Anthropic job posts in October 2026 require at least 25% office time.

What critics are saying

  • Job security rides on growth: Anthropic's IPO prospectus lists $518 billion in cloud and computing bills due in coming years.
  • Defense work stays off-limits: in September 2026, appeals judges voted 2-1 to let the Pentagon keep blacklisting Anthropic.
  • Growth is priced in: Anthropic's valuation reached $965 billion in May 2026, up from $380 billion in February.

What makes Anthropic unique

  • Investors don't control its board alone: Anthropic's independent Long-Term Benefit Trust elects a growing number of directors.
  • It isn't tied to one chipmaker: Claude runs on Nvidia GPUs plus custom AI chips designed by Google and Amazon.
  • It holds back its riskiest model: Claude Mythos 5.1, launched September 2026, goes only to vetted cyberdefenders and life scientists.

Anthropic pledges 5% of shares to fund tackling AI job disruption

Anthropic, the AI company behind the Claude models, has committed 5% of its shares to a new public benefit fund that will address job disruption caused by AI. The commitment is subject to stockholder approval. The company's board could add 2% of shares for every 50% increase in Anthropic's value, at its discretion. The move builds on an earlier $200 million commitment to study and reduce AI's impact on employment.

Anthropic has signed a lease with EverWind for data center capacity at Point Tupper, Nova Scotia. It is the company's first such agreement in Canada, said Jacob Glick, Anthropic's Canada public policy head. EverWind, a Canadian developer of green energy projects, plans to invest more than C$10 billion ($7.05 billion) in the data center campus and related wind power projects. It has promoted the Cape Breton port area as a future clean fuel hub. Glick said Anthropic would protect ratepayers and water resources while ensuring local communities benefit.

Replit drops Anthropic for OpenAI over cost and performance, CEO says

Replit is no longer working with Anthropic, chief executive officer and co-founder Amjad Masad said Thursday at TechCrunch Disrupt. He cited cost, partnership and performance. "I think ChatGPT is better now," Masad said, adding that Replit's internal and public benchmarks show Sol and Astra build vibe-coded applications from scratch more effectively. Replit announced a partnership with OpenAI in August. An unnamed person familiar with the matter said the Anthropic partnership was still in place. A September blog post cited Anthropic's Claude models as running in Replit Agent's production environment. Masad said enterprise contracts made up about 15% of revenue this year, up from 2% last year. More than 50% of revenue is B2B.

Anthropic gets top junk credit rating from KBRA ahead of $35B chip financing

Anthropic received a double B plus issuer rating from Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) in June, the highest speculative-grade score and one notch below investment grade. The rating came before a $35bn chip financing led by Apollo, according to documents seen by the FT. Investment grade would lower the AI startup's borrowing costs and open it to investors such as pension funds and life insurers. Anthropic expects to spend more than $500bn on computing and infrastructure over the next decade. KBRA used a "risk score" because Anthropic withheld metrics including free cash flow. About $4.4bn of junior debt in the package carries Anthropic's credit risk and was sold at a yield of about 8.5%. Banks are now assembling a $60bn deal for more custom AI chips.
