Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in communications, journalism, or humanities.
  • Extensive experience in a branded content or editorial role.
  • Experience in audio and video production.
  • Experience reporting on finance, business, and technology beats.
  • Solid digital journalism, writing, and editing experience.
  • Experience responding to feedback from advertisers and clients.
  • Experience with social media, distribution, and the branded content landscape.
Responsibilities
  • Conceive and write branded content pitches, stories, and projects for clients across consulting, financial services, business, technology, luxury goods, consumer, automotive, entertainment, health care, and travel.
  • Write and edit primary- and secondary-source reporting and content for T Brand Studio International projects.
  • Conduct on-the-ground interviews, identify sources, perform copy editing, proofread, and fact-check in accordance with newsroom standards.
  • Ensure branded content meets The New York Times values while fulfilling clients' strategic aims.
  • Proofread creative work and editorial copy written by colleagues across T Brand Studio in London, Paris, Singapore, and New York.
  • Participate in regular brainstorming sessions and meetings with teams in Singapore, London, and Paris.
  • Work with colleagues to refine ideas and develop strong storytelling across multiple content capabilities.
  • Conduct research and interviews, write, commission, and edit articles.
  • See video and podcast projects through the production process.
  • Take leadership in business-to-business campaigns by developing new advertiser opportunities and following projects through production.
  • Support and demonstrate understanding of journalistic independence and the mission to seek the truth and help people understand the world.
