bet365 Casino Named Best in the UK as US Expansion Continues.

bet365 Casino Named Best in the UK as US Expansion Continues. Betting News Writer Oct 09, 2026, 01:45 PM EDT bet365 Casino For bet365 Casino, the challenge is not proving it knows online gambling. It is turning an established international reputation into a bigger place in the American market. The latest sign of its strength overseas comes from the United Kingdom. Eilers & Krejcik Gaming named bet365 the UK's best casino app in its first-half 2026 product testing. The recognition gives bet365 casino another reason to stand out in its home market. In the United States, the story is still taking shape. After recently launching in West Virginia, the company has expanded its real-money casino into four states, while its sportsbook reaches a much broader audience. The contrast is the heart of its next chapter: an established overseas name working to turn momentum into a stronger U.S. foothold. A UK app award adds weight to bet365's reputation. The Eilers & Krejcik recognition focuses on the casino app itself. It is a product-quality distinction, however, rather than a count of customers or a measure of market share. Calling it the best-performing app in that assessment is different from saying it is the most popular casino everywhere. Other UK rankings also show bet365's strong position. Betting Apps placed bet365 Casino first in its 2026 review of UK-licensed casino apps, highlighting its mix of slots, jackpots and live games. That separate assessment supports the picture of a well-regarded mobile product, though it uses its own ranking criteria. "We Know Betting" Gives the brand a new message. The recognition arrives during a change in how bet365 presents itself. In August, the company introduced its "We Know Betting" global brand positioning alongside a "Reasons" advertising campaign. The new message puts the company's betting experience at the center of its identity. October coverage connected the casino app accolade with that brand shift. The timing gives bet365 a clear marketing opportunity. A company can advertise its expertise, but outside recognition offers a separate reason for customers to take that claim seriously. Still, the award and the campaign should not be confused. The recognition concerns the app's performance in a product assessment. It does not establish that the new advertising caused the result. Where is bet365 Casino available in America? So far, bet365 casino operates in four regulated U.S. states: Michigan joined that list in April. West Virginia followed on August 27, becoming the fourth state where bet365 offers both online casino gaming and sports betting. Those launches show that the American casino business is growing. They also explain why bet365's U.S. presence can look different depending on which product someone follows. When West Virginia launched, it became bet365's 18th U.S. sports betting state. Only four of those states offered the company's casino alongside its sportsbook. A bigger sportsbook footprint therefore should not be mistaken for equally broad casino access. Is bet365 Casino popular in the United States? The more accurate answer is that bet365 casino has a growing U.S. presence and receives favorable product reviews, but those facts do not establish national market leadership. American review sites include it among their recommended regulated casinos. Legal Sports Report highlights its accessible app and exclusive slots, while PlayUSA describes the casino as a competitive product whose app is a particular strength. These are assessments of quality, not audited measures of how many Americans use it. Its recent launches also put its position in context. Michigan already had a crowded online gambling market when bet365 entered, including major national and local operators. The company was bringing an established global brand into a market with existing competitors - not introducing online casinos to an untapped audience. That makes "still building its American foothold" a more useful description than "unpopular." The former reflects its expansion and competitive challenge. The latter would require stronger evidence about customer numbers or casino market share. Bet 365 app adding features as U.S. Expansion continues. For anyone searching for the "bet 365 app," the important question is not just whether the brand offers a polished mobile experience. It is whether the casino product is available where they live - and what that local version includes. The UK award applies to the UK casino app. American users should not assume the same game catalog or features are available in every state. It's been said that bet365's casino library in some international markets is larger than its offerings in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. At the same time, bet365 is adding features to its U.S. business. Its West Virginia launch included Jackpot365, an in-house progressive jackpot feature that had debuted in Michigan earlier in August. A progressive jackpot grows as qualifying play contributes to its prize pool. Those investments suggest the company's American strategy involves more than adding states to a map. It is also developing the product offered within those markets. UK recognition is a starting point, not a U.S. Finish line. Bet365's latest UK accolade strengthens its case as an established international operator with a highly rated casino app. Its Michigan and West Virginia launches show that it is also making concrete progress in America. But the two stories measure different things. Product awards speak to the experience an app delivers. State launches speak to where a company can compete. Neither, on its own, proves that an operator has won the largest share of American players. For bet365 casino, the next challenge is turning a respected product and expanding availability into a deeper position in the states it serves. The overseas reputation is already there. The American casino story remains a work in progress. Real-money gambling involves financial risk. U.S. access depends on state law, licensing and eligibility. An app award does not reduce the risk of losing money. Always exhibit responsible gambling habits. bet365 named UK's best casino app after 'We Know Betting' rebrand.

bet365 named UK's best casino app after 'We Know Betting' rebrand. Report: Millions of Norwegians seek black market option via Curaçao. Published on: 8 October 2026 | Last updated: 8 October 2026, 11:31 am The Curaçao document leak has revealed that millions of Norwegians have turned to the black market. According to NRK, the Norwegian public broadcasting service, the leaks revealed 782 online casino sites adapted for Norwegian players, which have garnered an estimated 81 million visits from the country. Business plans accessed by hacker Lillith Wittman through a breach of the Curaçao Gaming Authority's (CGA) online portal repeatedly outline plans to target Norway alongside markets such as Canada and Finland. In one instance, an operator described the three markets named as unregulated, despite Norway and Finland operating as a monopoly served by Norsk Tipping and Veikkaus, respectively, while Canada uses a provincial-level regulatory system. Wittman, a German hacker who previously accessed the database of the Malta Gaming Authority, said she spent nine months accessing data from the CGA, which she has now made publicly available. In a series of articles published in various languages across Europe, Wittman alleged that the CGA has ignored serious problems related to the leadership of various operators when granting licences. NRK said that at least 12 Norwegians were identified to have roles in Curaçao-licensed operations. Norway's black market is estimated to be worth 2bn Kroner (approximately £158.3m) annually. For comparison, the state-owned Norsk Tipping reported gaming revenues of 10.2bn Kroner (approximately £808.4m) across lottery, sports betting and casino games. The CGA confirmed that access to its portal was obtained in December 2025 before being discovered on 17 September 2026. The regulator took its online portal offline following the incident and has now confirmed that it will be transitioning to a new platform, with more information expected by the end of the week. In a statement, the CGA said that it is working on an alternative mechanism to replace the current digital seal for all licensees, which will be impacted by the closure of the online portal. The CGA also emphasised that closing the portal does not impact the validity of existing licences. "Licensing, compliance, and supervision activities remain in effect and will continue through alternative arrangements while an interim solution is being implemented to facilitate the continued processing of licences and regulatory matters," said the CGA.

However, the regulations cited in the order make it clear that BetMGM accepted sports bets in New Jersey on prohibited and unapproved sports events. The prohibited events in the cited regulations deal with sports bets being accepted on New Jersey college teams or on collegiate sporting events being hosted in New Jersey. State sports betting regulations prohibit operators from offering markets on New Jersey college teams or on college events being held in the state, such as the NCAA March Madness tournament. The violated regulations require all licensed operators to maintain an accurate self-exclusion list and establish procedures to block self-excluded individuals from gaming or receiving marketing materials. FanDuel fined for failure to comply with directive. The DGE issued a $5,000 to FanDuel for failing to adhere to a division directive. The order noted FanDuel did not comply with N.J.S.A. 5:12-80(d) during an investigation of suspicious betting activity. The regulation requires the following: All applicants, licensees, registrants, and any other person who shall be qualified pursuant to this act shall have the continuing duty to provide any assistance or information required by the division, and to cooperate in any inquiry, investigation or hearing conducted by the division and any hearing conducted by the commission. If, upon issuance of a formal request to answer or produce information, evidence or testimony, any applicant, licensee, registrant, or any other person who shall be qualified pursuant to this act refuses to comply, the application, license, registration or qualification of such person may be denied or revoked. Flutter Entertainment halts Brazil operations after online betting ban.

Flutter Entertainment halts Brazil operations after online betting ban. Brazil's online betting ban forced Flutter Entertainment to halt operations as SOFTSWISS released its 2027 iGaming Trends Report in Lisbon. Tldr. * Brazil's government issued a provisional measure on Sept. 25 banning online betting, and Flutter Entertainment stopped operations in the country. * Flutter estimates staying out of Brazil through the end of 2026 would cut revenue by about $70 million and adjusted EBITDA by around $20 million. * SOFTSWISS released its 2027 iGaming Trends Report near Lisbon, putting global online gambling revenue at $349 billion in 2026. * The report says 85% of betting and gaming companies use AI, but the industry's AI maturity score is only 45 out of 100. * Brazil's Congress must approve or amend the ban within 120 days, and Flutter is reviewing its options, including a possible appeal. SOFTSWISS released its fifth annual iGaming Trends Report at an invite-only media event near Lisbon, Portugal. The launch took place on the eve of the SBC Summit. Speakers from SOFTSWISS, AWS, Pentasia and Google joined the panel. CNN's Elliott Gotkine moderated the discussion, which covered AI, compliance and new growth markets. The report puts global online gambling gross gaming revenue at $349 billion in 2026. SOFTSWISS forecasts the market will keep growing. Alexandra Kavelich, Deputy CMO at SOFTSWISS, said the industry's fast growth is starting to slow. The company views this as a sign that the sector is maturing. Brazil ban hits Flutter Entertainment. Much of the discussion turned to Brazil. On Sept. 25, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's government issued a provisional measure banning online betting. Flutter Entertainment responded by stopping both sports betting and iGaming operations in the country. Congress must approve or amend the measure within 120 days for it to stay in effect. Flutter estimates that staying out of Brazil through the end of 2026 would cut revenue by about $70 million. It would also reduce adjusted EBITDA by around $20 million. The company bought a 56% stake in NSX in 2025, combining Betnacional with Betfair Brazil. The deal carried total consideration of $674 million. Brazil generated $146 million for Flutter in the first half of 2026. In August, outgoing CEO Peter Jackson called the country "an attractive long-term opportunity." The SOFTSWISS report, written before the ban, lists Brazil among the world's largest online betting markets. It names Betano, Superbet and Bet365 as the top brands by market share. Robin Harrison, Global Content Director B2B at WorldGaming, said the ban would bring "a lot of pain and a lot of wasted investment." Asked where the next growth market might be, he replied, "Last year we said Brazil." SOFTSWISS CBDO Olga Resiga declined to name specific markets. "Big market doesn't mean profitable market, but ready market," she said. Report tracks AI and compliance shifts. The report says 85% of betting and gaming companies worldwide have adopted AI. However, the industry's AI maturity score is only 45 out of 100. Kristina Medvedeva, Head of Marketing at Google, said generative AI makes it cheaper and faster to test new markets. Resiga said AI can speed up decisions, but the final call remains human. The report also says compliance is moving from periodic reporting to continuous, data-driven oversight. Resiga said compliance should be built into products from the start rather than added later. Harrison said real-time monitoring could give regulators a clearer picture of how operators behave. He added that regulation often moves slower than the industry it oversees. Flutter has said it is reviewing its options, including a possible appeal. Harrison noted that, as of Oct. 6, "we don't have a market anymore" in Brazil.
