Watsco signs $750M five-year unsecured credit facility, extending existing revolver

An initial draw repaid $69.7 million owed under the prior facility. Further borrowings will fund working capital, acquisitions, dividends and other general purposes. The terms include more borrowing capacity, covenant flexibility and better fit with the seasonal nature of Watsco's working capital needs. Updation teams up with US Bank to modernise dealership payments with real-time options

U.S. Bank and Updation, an AI-powered accounts payable and vendor management platform for car, truck, RV, and powersports dealerships, have announced a collaboration to streamline dealers' payments and financial operations. Updation will use U.S. Bank Embedded Payment Solutions, including a for-benefit-of (FBO) account structure. Funds are held and moved within a bank-managed framework, which adds controls and means Updation does not directly handle customer funds. Updation clients can move beyond certified checks to options such as real-time payments. "That creates a faster, more efficient payment experience for dealerships," said Joe Voica, head of embedded payments at U.S. Bank. Updation chief executive officer Layton Judd said the deal brings accounting intelligence, workflow, and payments into one platform.
