About the job

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience selling technical products to technical buyers.
  • Technical fluency and comfort building live in software, including demonstrating, co-designing, and troubleshooting with customers without a specialist present.
  • Strong discovery and qualification instincts, with the ability to map customer workflows and translate them into commercial outcomes and adoption plans.
  • Experience running complex, multi-stakeholder interactions involving procurement, legal, and security review cycles.
  • Ability to operate with agency and urgency, bring new ideas and workflows to customers, and present simple solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong interest in artificial intelligence, including continuously building with new tools and learning new ways of working.
Responsibilities
  • Own the full customer lifecycle, including new-logo acquisition, expansion, and renewal, as the single account owner for a book of business, ensuring credits sold translate into credits consumed.
  • Design and build workflow solutions live with customers by running discovery, designing current-to-future-state workflow architecture, and co-building in Notion.
  • Partner with business development representatives on target-account planning and co-own the outbound motion, including direct outreach to priority stakeholders.
  • Navigate commercial sizing, proposal construction, procurement, legal, and security review to close deals with the appropriate scope, credits, and implementation path.
  • Guide customers through early implementation with a clear adoption plan and handoff to Outcomes Architects for ongoing multi-workflow expansion.
  • Partner with Outcomes Architects on onboarding, adoption plans, expansion strategies, and renewal execution while owning the commercial arc.
Desired Qualifications
  • Full-cycle business-to-business software sales or solutions engineering experience with a consistent track record of exceeding quota across new-logo acquisition and expansion motions.
  • Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models and the ability to structure credit-based commercial proposals.
  • Prior experience selling to mid-market and enterprise accounts in productivity, collaboration, or workflow software.
  • Experience in a shared account-ownership model, partnering with a post-sale or customer-success team as part of an integrated customer motion.

About the company

What believers are saying

  • GIC, Sequoia, and Index priced Notion at $11 billion in January 2026.
  • Notion said AI features drive over 50% of ARR, with revenue above $600 million.
  • Brazil expansion and Singapore presence broaden enterprise sales channels across fast-growing markets.

What critics are saying

  • Atlassian Rovo, Microsoft Copilot, and ClickUp Brain attack Notion's enterprise wedge in 2026.
  • Workers and AI features live mostly on Business and Enterprise plans, limiting SMB conversion.
  • If AI-native workspaces win agents-and-workflows, Notion becomes a heavier docs layer by 2027.

What makes Notion unique

  • Notion's May 2026 Developer Platform turns workspaces into programmable agent hubs.
  • Workers run hosted code inside Notion, reducing reliance on Zapier, Lambda, or Vercel.
  • Notion's database-plus-docs UX still beats pure AI chat products for nontechnical teams.

Notion acquires WorkFlowy to merge AI-powered outlining with structured databases

Notion has acquired minimalist outlining tool WorkFlowy for an undisclosed sum, aiming to blend rapid, keyboard-driven workflows with structured database capabilities. WorkFlowy will remain a standalone app through at least the end of 2027. A new "Notion Flow" block, expected in beta next quarter, will bring WorkFlowy's infinite zooming and nested outlining directly into Notion pages. The integration will leverage Notion AI to transform hierarchical outlines into formatted databases or technical documents. The acquisition targets developers, researchers, and project managers who previously used WorkFlowy for rapid brainstorming before migrating data into Notion for formalisation. By combining both tools, users can move from ideation to documentation without switching platforms. The full integration will roll out to Notion Enterprise customers in Q4 2026, intensifying competition with rivals like Obsidian, Roam Research, and Mem.

Notion launches developer platform to orchestrate AI agents and automate workflows

Notion has introduced a developer platform that transforms its workspace into an orchestration hub for AI agents. The platform allows teams to deploy custom code, connect external agents, and build automated workflows that pull data from any database. The new Workers feature enables customers to run custom code in a secure cloud environment without external infrastructure. Database sync, powered by Workers, can pull real-time data from sources like Salesforce and Postgres into Notion databases. Since launching Custom Agents in February, Notion customers have built over one million agents. The platform now supports external agents including Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, allowing users to chat with them and track progress alongside Notion's native agents. The Developer Platform is available on Business and Enterprise plans, with Workers free through August.

GIC invests $270M in Notion through employee share sale at $11B valuation

Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC has invested $270 million in Notion through a private tender offer, valuing the AI workspace company at $11 billion. Sequoia Capital and Index Ventures joined GIC in purchasing shares from current and former Notion employees. The transaction provides employee liquidity whilst bringing new institutional capital. Notion removed the one-year vesting cliff on employee options to allow nearly all staff to participate. The investment follows Notion's expansion into Singapore with a regional office opened in mid-2025. Notion's AI-powered features now drive over 50% of annual recurring revenue, which recently surpassed $600 million. The platform serves over 100 million users worldwide across 21 languages. The $11 billion valuation represents a slight increase from Notion's 2022 tender offer at $10 billion.
