Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in Customer Success, specifically in a SaaS healthcare environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team of Customer Success professionals in a SaaS healthcare environment, owning end goals and delegating details.
  • Experience taking operational control of a rapidly evolving environment and handling challenges requiring conceptual and strategic thought.
  • Comfort working with enterprise-level accounts.
  • Deep familiarity with the healthcare environment and the population served.
  • Analytical skills and experience with customer success best practices in the technology industry, including implementing processes that drive success.
  • Presentation skills, especially for internal data reporting and leading external EBRs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, remote environment.
  • A track record of driving customer retention, growth, and advocacy for end users.
  • Strong understanding of the customer life cycle and customer success principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strategic experience guiding teams and accounts simultaneously and understanding the differences between them.
  • Proficiency with customer success platforms and CRM systems.
  • Have previously led a team of Customer Success Managers, worked as a CSM in a SaaS healthcare environment, and served as a CSM for enterprise accounts.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small, diverse team of customer success professionals through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Continuously improve the processes by which the team operates.
  • Lead CSMs by understanding their strengths, goals, accounts, and account requests; share experience executing complex contract renewals, expansions, and upsells; and collaborate with Sales and other teams to drive retention and growth.
  • Develop and implement customer success strategies to improve satisfaction, retention, and expansion (NRR), using data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze customer data and health trends to proactively mitigate churn risks and identify opportunities for product and service improvements.
  • Partner with Operations to design and test workflows for customer segments, optimizing processes and efficiency.
  • Present team performance and customer insights to Director-level leadership and offer strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to creating and continuously improving customer success playbooks, best practices, and training materials.
  • Manage team resources, workload distribution, capacity planning, and utilization.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Gainsight.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
