About the job
- A successfully completed degree in engineering, business administration, or a comparable field such as mechanical engineering, production engineering, or electrical engineering is required.
- Initial professional experience in project management, preferably in plant engineering or renewable energy, is desirable; practical experience from internships or working-student roles is an alternative.
- A strong technical understanding of plants in environmental technology, construction, waste management, or renewable energy is required.
- Initial international or intercultural experience is required.
- Secure user knowledge of Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of SAP or comparable enterprise resource planning systems is desirable.
- Willingness to travel is required.
- Negotiation-level German and English communication skills at a minimum C1 level are required.
- A structured way of working, strong organizational skills, prioritization ability, and decisiveness are required.
- Maintain and continuously develop the overall project plan and ensure transparent schedule management.
- Support senior project managers with technical, commercial, and organizational matters, including risk management.
- Prepare and follow up on meetings and professionally document outcomes in German and English.
- Contribute to project controlling, create project reports, and prepare and analyze planned-versus-actual comparisons.
- Independently manage subprojects after an appropriate onboarding period, including providing technical leadership to interdisciplinary project teams.
- Ensure compliance with the quality management system and health, safety, and environment guidelines.
- Develop new concepts independently while considering country-specific requirements and regulatory frameworks.
- Lead projects in accordance with internal business processes, contractual agreements with customers and suppliers, and governmental requirements.
- Experience in project management in plant engineering or renewable energy.
- A particular interest in the biogas industry.
- Knowledge of SAP or comparable enterprise resource planning systems.
- Additional French language skills.
