About the job

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 5+ years of hands-on RF/microwave production experience are required.
  • Demonstrated expertise troubleshooting complex RF systems in production environments, not just laboratory development, is required.
  • Deep understanding of RF system performance, including gain/loss/dynamic range, noise figure and sensitivity, linearity and compression, phase noise and stability, and spurious/interference mechanisms, is required.
  • Strong experience debugging RF issues tied to mechanical layout, grounding, shielding, and assembly variation is required.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, signal generators, and power meters/sensors, is required.
  • Experience developing automated RF test systems using Python, LabVIEW, TestStand, or similar frameworks is required.
  • Experience with production calibration, alignment, and tuning of RF systems is required.
  • A strong background in statistical process control, yield analysis, and failure investigation is required.
  • The ability to diagnose issues spanning RF, digital, embedded, and electromechanical domains is required.
  • Experience transitioning products from development to production, with emphasis on test readiness, documentation completeness, and process repeatability, is required.
  • Strong technical communication skills and the ability to lead technical reviews, failure investigations, and customer briefings are required.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance are required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical authority for production RF performance, test strategy, and yield optimization across defense RF systems, including seekers, proximity sensors, height-of-burst sensors, antennas, and RF subsystems.
  • Own resolution of complex production issues, including intermittent failures, environmental sensitivities, calibration drift, and unit-to-unit performance variation.
  • Lead deep-dive root-cause investigations across full RF signal chains, including RF front-end, analog, mixed-signal, and embedded interfaces.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to noise, spurious signals, coupling, shielding, grounding, and system-level interactions.
  • Drive transition of RF hardware from development into production, ensuring production-representative test coverage, calibration robustness, and repeatability across builds.
  • Develop and deploy advanced RF production test solutions, including automated test systems, alignment and calibration routines, and system-level validation methods.
  • Optimize production test flows to balance test coverage, throughput, and false-failure reduction while maintaining mission-critical performance requirements.
  • Drive reduction of test escapes and false failures through improved test coverage, limits, and methodologies.
  • Apply statistical analysis to production data to identify trends in yield loss, drift, and performance variation across lots, builds, and environments.
  • Partner with Design Engineering to close gaps in design for test, design for manufacturability, and design for calibration.
  • Lead implementation of corrective and preventive actions for systemic production issues.
  • Interface with Program Management, Quality, Supply Chain, and customers to communicate technical risk, readiness, and production performance.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership on the manufacturing floor and at the bench, supporting test stations, troubleshooting efforts, and engineering builds.
  • Mentor engineers and technicians in RF debugging, measurement techniques, and production best practices.
  • Independently diagnose issues where RF performance deviates from design intent with no clear failure mode or repeatability.

About the company

What believers are saying

  • TSC's July 2025 and January 2026 profiles still show active hiring and operations.
  • Partnerships like Zaion added AI callbots, strengthening automation offerings for 2026 prospects.
  • Foundever's August 2026 recapitalization extended maturities to 2030-2031, reducing near-term financial stress.

What critics are saying

  • Foundever cut nearly $900 million debt on August 17, 2026; balance-sheet pressure persists.
  • Laurent Uberti and Olivier Camino exited July 31, 2026, creating leadership uncertainty.
  • Foundever could fold TSC into broader delivery, erasing the TSC brand entirely.

What makes TSC unique

  • TSC combines CX strategy, design, and build for digital channels, not pure consulting.
  • The agency specializes in chatbots, social media, and self-service, matching digital-first brands.
  • Its Foundever parent gives access to global CX operations and enterprise accounts.
