Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within an integrated Human Performance team.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology or counseling.
  • Active NCC credential through the National Board for Certified Counselors.
  • Minimum two years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and facilitate mindfulness, stress management, and cognitive resilience training for Airmen.
  • Improve Airmen’s mission-ready physical and mental performance and reduce preventable injuries.
  • Enhance cognitive resilience, decision-making under stress, and fatigue management.
  • Provide evidence-based human-performance programs tailored to Contingency Response Wing mission sets, including high-tempo, short-notice deployments.
  • Provide portable, mission-specific human-performance guidance to Airmen before deployments so they can maintain performance without contractor presence.
  • Design human-performance solutions for diverse Air Force Specialty Codes, including mission-specific performance guidance and field-ready sustainment options.
  • Provide integrated holistic evaluations for Contingency Response Wing Airmen and facilitate timely support for strength and conditioning, functional strength, and mindfulness coaching.
  • Provide practical techniques to improve focus, attention, emotional regulation, decision-making under stress, and fatigue management.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting attention control, stress management, resilience, recovery, cognitive performance, or related human-performance activities.
  • Master’s degree.
  • Direct Department of Defense, military, or tactical-population experience.
