- Work in ambient and elevated temperatures up to 110 degrees due to equipment operation and cleaning.
- Notify supervision of repairs or adjustments that may affect product quality or food safety.
- Understand, observe, and comply with the color-coded container policy in production areas.
- Perform duties necessary to meet company, customer, and government food safety and quality requirements.
- Initiate action to prevent nonconformities relating to food safety, product quality, processes, quality systems, or safety systems.
- Identify and record problems relating to food safety, ingredient quality, processes, quality systems, or safety systems.
- Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition is corrected.
- Receive and load milk while maintaining food quality and food safety standards.
- Hook up and unload tankers, run quality tests on milk, and clean tankers using Clean-In-Place procedures.
- Keep the raw milk receiving building clean and sanitary and perform regular sanitation.
- Follow safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practice rules and keep the work center audit ready.
- Report to and follow the direction of Processing Supervisors.
- Ensure received milk meets specifications and all food safety and quality requirements.
- Inspect, document, and transfer products from suppliers to the designated raw material silo.
- Receive and load milk, byproducts, and filtration ingredients from tankers.
- Test and document milk loads.
- Clean silos, lines, tankers, and process equipment through hand cleaning, Clean-In-Place, and Clean-Out-of-Place operations on a daily basis.
- Sample the Clean-In-Place system to monitor chemical concentration.
- Collect accurate product samples for quality assurance testing.
- Monitor testing equipment and replace supplies as needed.
- Service pumps, valves, and heat exchangers to maintain operational condition according to the routine Preventative Maintenance schedule.
- Immediately report equipment damage, irregular activity, or unsafe conditions involving company equipment, outside hauler equipment, or outside drivers to maintenance or a supervisor.
- Follow escalation protocols based on production and quality triggers.
- Assist with training new personnel and upskilling team members.
- Follow standard operating procedures.
- Complete each shift's Master Sanitation Schedule, Centerline, and Clean, Inspect, Lubricate tasks accurately and on time.
- Communicate anticipated schedule delays or changes to processing.
- Assume the duties and responsibilities of an absent employee with the same skill level when required.

The ultrafiltered milk manufacturer, part of The Coca-Cola Company, celebrated the progress Aug. 20 with a ribbon-cutting celebration that drew New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, and other area politicians and business people to Webster, NY. Fairlife said the $650 million facility will serve as the brand's flagship plant in the Northeast and "significantly" increase the availability of Fairlife products in the US. The growing dairy processor noted Coca-Cola's continued investment in Fairlife production is "directly related to the growing demand" for its portfolio of products. Hochul remarked: "The demand is soaring, right? Everybody is understanding the benefits of protein, how important it is for healthy lives, and this is - your timing is excellent to build this facility with the possibility of even more growth." Once fully operational, the new plant is projected to take in 5 to 6 million lbs of milk per day from 40 nearby dairy farms. "I believe that this project, this $650 million investment, is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for this region to show off who we are," Hochul said.
