Possible Shawn Michaels replacement in WWE NXT revealed.

Possible Shawn Michaels replacement in WWE NXT revealed. Follow Us To Stay Connected With Its Updates Shawn Michaels is expected to move into a much bigger role in WWE after WrestleMania 43, but that leaves one pretty important question - who's going to handle NXT once he's gone? Well, a new update has pointed to a familiar name who could be getting a lot more involved with the brand. According to False Finish, sources within WWE's Performance Center expect AJ Styles to become more hands-on with NXT once Michaels moves into his new position. That doesn't mean Styles has been officially chosen to replace Michaels, but there is apparently an expectation within the Performance Center that he'll be taking on more responsibility. "Sources indicate to False Finish that those within the Performance Center expect AJ Styles to be more hands on within NXT as a result of Shawn Michaels promotion." That's an interesting name to have in the conversation. Styles has spent decades working around the world, including major runs in TNA, NJPW, and WWE. With that kind of experience, he certainly has plenty to offer younger talent trying to make it to the main roster. This comes after it was revealed that WWE is planning to promote Michaels into Bruce Prichard's position as Executive Director of Creative Writing & Talent following WrestleMania 43 in April 2027. Prichard is expected to step away from his full-time duties while remaining with the company as a consultant. According to PWInsider, WWE has already been preparing for Michaels to take over Prichard's responsibilities, and this isn't something that was just decided recently. "We are told that this succession plan has been in place for some time and that Michaels will start to prepare for the Prichard role in the months ahead." Michaels has been running NXT since September 2021, so his expected promotion would leave WWE with another important position to figure out. He's been responsible for the brand's creative direction while also helping develop talent at the Performance Center, making his eventual departure from that role a pretty big deal. That's where Styles could come in. While there's no indication that WWE has offered him Michaels' exact position, the expectation that he'll become more involved with NXT raises questions about what the company might have planned for him. Whether that means working directly with talent, helping with creative, or taking on some other responsibilities remains to be seen. And there's still plenty of time for things to change. Michaels isn't expected to move into Prichard's position until after WrestleMania 43, and WWE hasn't announced any official plans for who will handle NXT once that happens. For now, Styles is a name worth keeping an eye on. Nobody has confirmed that he'll be the next person running NXT, but people within the Performance Center are apparently expecting him to have a bigger presence once Michaels moves up. With months still to go before the transition, WWE has time to figure out exactly what that means. Do you think AJ Styles should take over NXT when Shawn Michaels moves into his new role, or would you rather see WWE give the job to someone else? Shawn Michaels reportedly expected to step into Bruce Prichard's role.

Shawn Michaels reportedly expected to step into Bruce Prichard's role. There reportedly will be a shake-up to WWE's creative and writing leadership following WrestleMania 43. Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported on Monday that WWE's Executive Director - Creative Writing & Talent, Bruce Prichard, is expected to retire from his position at WrestleMania 43 next year. While he is departing from his full-time position at the company, the expectation is that he will remain connected with WWE as a consultant and work from home in Texas. On Thursday, PWInsider, citing multiple sources, reported that current head of NXT and Senior Vice President of Talent Development, Shawn Michaels, will step into Prichard's role. Michaels, 61, is a close friend of WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque and has been in his NXT role since September 2021. PWInsider added that this succession plan had been in place for some time and that Michaels will start to prepare for his new role months in advance.

Backstage update on Bruce Prichard's WWE future following retirement reports.

Backstage update on Bruce Prichard's WWE future following retirement reports. 10/28/2026 Additional details have emerged regarding Bruce Prichard's future with WWE following reports that the longtime executive is expected to step away from his current position after WrestleMania 43. Earlier this week, PWInsider reported that Prichard was planning to retire from his role as WWE's Executive Director of Creative Writing & Talent following WrestleMania 43 in 2027. However, new information suggests that his departure from the position may not necessarily mean the end of his involvement with the company. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Prichard is expected to undergo a serious surgical procedure and is planning to transition to working remotely afterward. While the original report indicated that retirement was being considered, the latest update suggests he could remain with WWE in a different capacity. "Bruce Prichard's plan is to work from home following a very serious surgery that he needs, Fightful Select has learned," Sapp reported. "PWInsider had reported that he plans to retire, but as things stand, it looks like he could remain with the company, in a more remote position when the time comes. Prichard has been running shows the last couple of weeks with Triple H on vacation." The report indicates that Prichard has continued playing an important role in WWE's creative operations, including overseeing shows during Paul "Triple H" Levesque's recent vacation. Meanwhile, wrestling news account False Finish suggested that Prichard's anticipated change in responsibilities could be part of a broader transition within WWE's management structure. "This will happen quite a bit over the next few years as the company gears up for a new direction with some currently contracted talent expected to take over spots within the office," the account wrote on X. The comments raise the possibility of additional personnel changes in WWE's backstage operations over the coming years, although no specific replacements or appointments have been confirmed. Prichard has been associated with WWE for decades, having originally joined the company in 1987. In addition to his behind-the-scenes responsibilities, he became familiar to fans through his on-screen portrayal of Brother Love before eventually establishing himself as one of WWE's longtime creative executives. At present, there has been no official announcement from WWE confirming Prichard's retirement or outlining any changes to his responsibilities. While the original reports pointed toward a potential departure from his executive position after WrestleMania 43, Fightful's latest update suggests that Prichard could continue working for WWE remotely rather than retiring from the company altogether. Bruce Prichard's plan is to work from home following a very serious surgery that he needs, Fightful Select has learned. PWInsider had reported that he plans to retire, but as things stand, it looks like he could remain with the company, in a more remote position when the time comes. Prichard has been running shows the last couple of weeks with Triple H on vacation. Too Lost Music Group appoints former Sony, Discovery, and WWE executive James Rosenstock at Chief Financial Officer.

Too Lost Music Group appoints former Sony, Discovery, and WWE executive James Rosenstock at Chief Financial Officer. October 28, 2026, 19:45 GMT Too Lost Music Group, a global music distribution and tech company serving independent artists and labels, has appointed James "Jay" Rosenstock as its new CFO. NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, October 28, 2026 / EINPresswire.com / - Too Lost Music Group, a global music distribution and technology company serving independent artists and labels, has appointed James "Jay" Rosenstock as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The appointment follows a strategic investment from TA Associates and GoldState Music earlier this year and the company's acquisition of Australia-based GYRO.Group. Rosenstock will lead Too Lost's global finance organization and work with the executive team on capital allocation and acquisitions as the company expands its distribution, publishing, and catalog businesses worldwide. Rosenstock brings more than 25 years of experience in media and technology, including a long record in the music industry. As Head of Corporate Development at Sony Entertainment, he helped expand Sony Music through its combination with BMG and grew Sony/ATV Music Publishing through a series of catalog acquisitions. He has since served as CFO of three consumer technology companies: ezCater, Skillshare, and most recently, PlayOn Sports, which is backed by the global investment firm KKR. In each of those roles, Rosenstock guided venture capital and private equity-backed finance teams through periods of rapid growth. He built the financial planning, accounting, reporting, data analytics, and information security systems needed to support institutional investors. His international experience is also extensive. At Discovery Communications, Rosenstock served as Head of Corporate Development and helped oversee approximately $3 billion of international investment. He also served as President of VICELAND International and as Executive Vice President, International at WWE, where he ran the company's international business. "Jay has an extraordinary combination of financial discipline, operational experience, and deep familiarity with the global media and music industries," said Too Lost Co-Founder & CEO Gregory Hirschhorn. "We've reached a point in Too Lost's growth where building world-class financial infrastructure is just as important as continuing to build world-class technology and services for our clients. Jay has helped some of the largest organizations in the world navigate growth, acquisitions, and major strategic transformations, and we're incredibly excited to help him lead Too Lost through this next chapter." Rosenstock said the company's independent focus was a draw for him. "Too Lost has built a highly disruptive platform at the intersection of music, technology, and financial services, pairing independent music distribution with flexible capital for artists and labels," said Rosenstock. "The scale the team has achieved while remaining focused on serving independent artists and labels is impressive. I'm excited to work with Gregory, Alex, and the broader leadership team to build the financial and operational foundation that will help us serve even more independent artists and labels around the world." The appointment comes as Too Lost emphasizes transparency in music distribution. With AI-generated music increasing in volume and AI-enabled streaming fraud targeting digital streaming platforms (DSPs), distributors increasingly serve as gatekeepers for what reaches listeners. Too Lost's transparency initiative is built around that responsibility, and Rosenstock will oversee the company's finance function as it continues to grow globally. About Too Lost Music Group Too Lost Music Group is a New York-headquartered global independent music company that provides artists, record labels, and music businesses with technology, infrastructure, capital, and international reach. Its services span distribution, publishing, rights management, catalog investment, marketing, and artist and label services. Across its portfolio, the company says it serves more than half a million artists and record labels, manages millions of recordings and compositions worldwide, and delivers roughly 10% of the world's newly released music each day.
