Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain email marketing calendars across multiple brands.

("High Tide" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: HITI) (TSXV: HITI) (FSE: 2LYA), the high-impact, retail-forward enterprise built to deliver real-world value across every component of cannabis, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of an established retail cannabis store located at 100 Rainbow Road in Chestermere, Alberta (the "Store") for $670,000 in cash (the "Transaction"). The Store will be rebranded under the Canna Cabana banner, bringing High Tide's total store count to 234 locations across Canada and 93 in the province of Alberta. The Store occupies a high-visibility unit along one of Chestermere's main arterial roads, giving it strong exposure to local residents as well as commuters travelling to and from Calgary. The unit is co-tenanted with a national quick-service restaurant and several specialty retail and personal service businesses, and sits next to a major grocer and a liquor store. The same building is home to a range of professional service tenants that bring steady traffic to the property throughout the day. Together, these daily-needs destinations generate the kind of repeat, convenience-driven shopping trips that suit Canna Cabana's discount club model. Surrounded by residential neighbourhoods in every direction, the Store is positioned to serve both its immediate community and customers from across the wider area who travel the route each day. California Governor Gavin Newsom signed legislation requiring marijuana retailers to provide customers with laboratory results upon request and strengthening regulators' access to products for independent testing. A separate measure excludes qualifying cannabinol (CBN) isolate from the state's cannabis-concentrate definition beginning January 1, 2028. The bills also address laboratory performance evaluations, enforcement and marijuana tracking requirements. The U.S. Supreme Court is scheduled to consider today whether to hear a Michigan case challenging the absence of a numerical THC impairment threshold. Ricky Darnell Patterson argues that drivers lack adequate notice of what THC concentration could expose them to prosecution. The conference concerns whether to accept the case, rather than a ruling on the underlying challenge. Representative Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) has become the second cosponsor of the bipartisan Cannabis Users' Restoration of Eligibility (CURE) Act. The legislation would prevent past marijuana use from disqualifying applicants for federal employment or security clearances. It would also establish a process for reconsidering certain previous denials, with agencies required to review requests within 90 days. New Jersey regulators are seeking an independent expert to analyze marijuana testing data for evidence of lab shopping and questionable potency or contaminant results. Portugal supplied more than 40% of imported marijuana, underscoring Spain's role as a processing and production center for Europe's medical marijuana industry.
