About the company

HiringCafe is a job search engine that collects legitimate job postings directly from company career pages, aiming to reduce noise from traditional job boards. It uses AI to crawl thousands of company websites several times a day, ensuring listings are current and links go straight to the employer’s application portal. The platform offers granular filters (role, location, company size, experience level) and salary information when available, plus an Application Tracker to save roles and manage searches. Revenue comes from employers via promoted listings and an optional Talent Network that connects companies with interested candidates. Unlike generic boards, HiringCafe focuses on ghost listings and fake posts, providing direct-to-employer, scam-free job discovery. The goal is to help job seekers find relevant, legitimate opportunities efficiently while giving employers a straightforward channel to reach candidates.

HiringCafe raises $6.8M pre-seed for AI job discovery platform scraping hidden company listings

HiringCafe, a San Francisco-based agentic job discovery platform, has raised $6.8 million in pre-seed funding. Spark Capital led the round, with participation from Nonfiction Capital, Silicon Gardens, and angel investors from ZipRecruiter and Indeed. The company, led by Hamed Nilforoshan and Ali Mir, provides an AI-powered job search platform that uses proprietary scraping technology to index millions of positions directly from company career pages. The platform allows users to upload a CV, after which AI instantly parses their experience and skills to recommend matched positions. The system filters out ghost listings, ensuring candidates only review legitimate, actively hiring roles. HiringCafe is also launching its AI Talent Agent feature, enabling users to create AI agents to search across millions of jobs on their behalf.
