SaverOne unveils new software-only driver safety product, Unlocking a significantly larger global market opportunity.

SaverOne unveils new software-only driver safety product, Unlocking a significantly larger global market opportunity. New platform-independent solution targets commercial fleets, private vehicles and insurance providers, eliminating the need for dedicated in-vehicle hardware Petah Tikva, Israel, Oct. 26, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - SaverOne 2014 Ltd. (Nasdaq: SVRE, TASE: SVRE), a technology company specializing in radio frequency (RF)-based solutions for the advanced transportation safety, defense and homeland security markets, today announced the launch of a software-only version of its driver distraction prevention solution that can integrate into the existing telematics and in-vehicle platforms that fleets already use. This provides an integrated active safety solution that prevents phone distraction while driving, without the need for complex installation of hardware in the vehicle cabin, avoiding vehicle downtime and potential damage. The new solution is designed to expand SaverOne's addressable market beyond commercial fleets to include private vehicles, telematics service providers and insurance companies. Most commercial fleets already have an existing telematics system installed in their vehicles and do not want to add another hardware box. SaverOne's software-only solution brings its driver distraction prevention capabilities to these existing platforms. The driver's phone is connected to SaverOne's cloud server, which implements each fleet's own safety policy. While driving, distracting apps and notifications are blocked, and the apps that the fleet allows continue to work. The solution also identifies when a driver's phone is not connected to the system, in which case an alert is activated through the telematics system or the vehicle speakers, and a phone call can be initiated to the driver as a reminder to reconnect. Fleet managers have full visibility through a cloud-based dashboard, while the system maintains high privacy standards: no message content, numbers dialed or location data are collected. SaverOne is in the process of completing the integration of its software-only solution with a few telematics system providers, among them Ituran and Geotab, with the SaverOne product available on the Geotab Marketplace. In addition, the solution has been integrated with the infotainment system of a leading global commercial vehicle manufacturer. Adding these platforms brings a potential base of many millions of vehicles. Beyond Commercial Fleets: Unlocking the Private Vehicle and Insurance Markets Beyond commercial fleets, SaverOne's software-only solution will also address the significantly larger private passenger vehicle market. Potential channels include existing GPS-based vehicle tracking and telematics providers, and insurers offering young-driver policies in which drivers identify themselves through a mobile app before each trip. Integration with these existing systems could bring distraction prevention to a broad base of private motorists without installing dedicated hardware, creating an additional growth opportunity. Mr. Ori Gilboa, CEO of SaverOne, stated, "Fleets want active safety, but they do not want to install another box in the vehicle. By delivering our distraction prevention as software on the telematics and in-vehicle platforms that fleets already run, we remove the need for additional hardware and significantly lower the upfront investment for fleets. Our integrations with several major telematics and infotainment platforms will place our solution on platforms that already reach fleets with millions of drivers, and we are now focused on turning these integrations into commercial deployments. Importantly, we see an even broader opportunity beyond commercial fleets, particularly in the private vehicle and insurance markets, where existing telematics and mobile app platforms could enable deployment at a scale previously difficult to address with hardware-based solutions." About SaverOne 2014 Ltd. SaverOne is a technology company specializing in RF-based solutions for the advanced transportation safety, defense and homeland security markets. SaverOne designs, develops and commercializes OEM and aftermarket technologies that detect, locate and analyze cellphone RF signals using proprietary hardware, software, AI and algorithms. SaverOne's first commercial product line is designed to prevent vehicle accidents caused by driver distraction from mobile phone use. Building on the same core RF sensing platform, SaverOne is also developing solutions for vulnerable road user (VRU) detection under limited-visibility and non-line-of-sight conditions, based on the cellphone footprint of pedestrians and other road users. In 2026, SaverOne expanded the potential applications of its RF sensing technology beyond transportation through its strategic transaction with VisionWave Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: VWAV), focused on integrating SaverOne's RF capabilities into defense, homeland security and critical infrastructure applications. Take control of your fleet fuel costs.

Take control of your fleet fuel costs. October 18, 2026 12:00 AM, EDT Every gallon affects a carrier's margin. Some fuel pays for productive miles; some is lost to high prices, unauthorized purchases, inefficient stops or records that arrive too late to help the team act and protect margins on the next trip. Fuel is one of the few costs that follows a truck everywhere. When diesel prices rise, the impact shows up quickly. When a load is priced weeks earlier, there may be little room left to absorb it. A few cents at the pump can change the economics of a route, especially when a fleet is running on tight margins. The harder problem is finding the waste. A transaction may look perfectly normal until someone compares it with the truck's location, its tank level or the driver's schedule. A driver may choose the nearest station because the next delivery is already running late. Small exceptions add up, but they are easy to miss when the review happens at the end of the month. The work of sorting it out often falls between departments. Fuel activity may live in one system, vehicle location in another and mileage records somewhere else. Finance teams then spend hours matching transactions to trips and preparing IFTA reports. Operations teams are left with information about what happened, rather than enough context to decide what to do next. That gap matters when a fleet is growing or routes cross state lines. A process that works for a handful of trucks can become a burden as transaction volume increases and more people need the answer. Drivers feel the friction too. They need to find fuel without losing time, and they need a card that works when they are far from the terminal. A control that looks straightforward in an office can feel very different from the cab, where traffic, weather and delivery windows shape every stop. The Geotab Fuel Card connects payment activity with vehicle and trip data in MyGeotab. Location and tank-level information can help identify transactions that do not fit the vehicle's circumstances, while participating station locations and pricing are available through the Geotab Drive app. Fleet teams can review fuel activity alongside the operational information they already use. Geotab will bring this conversation to the 2026 ATA Management Conference & Exhibition, October 17-20 in Charlotte, North Carolina. MCE is a chance for trucking leaders to compare notes on the pressures affecting their businesses and the changes they are making in response. On Sunday, October 18, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Room W209DEF, Geotab leaders and industry experts will join "Stop the Leak: Reducing Fuel Waste Across Your Fleet." The session will look at how fuel waste develops, why traditional programs can uncover losses too late and what better-connected data can contribute. If fuel decisions are still being made from a monthly statement, the conversation is worth having. Join Geotab at ATA MCE to talk about the realities of fuel management and ways to give fleet, finance and driving teams better information before the next stop.

Geotab embeds AtoB's payments platform to verify fuel purchases against vehicle data before approval

AtoB has partnered with Geotab to launch the Geotab Fleet Card, making Geotab the first fleet management platform to embed AtoB's payments platform. The card verifies fuel purchases against vehicle data before approval, preventing unauthorised transactions. The integration brings spend controls across 13 categories, including fuel, maintenance and tolls, directly into Geotab's platform. Fuel purchases are declined if the vehicle isn't at the pump or the tank lacks capacity. Cardholders access AtoB's fuel discount network, saving an average of 42 cents per gallon at over 4,200 diesel truck stops and 5 cents per gallon at 30,000 petrol stations. Eligible accounts receive fraud protection up to $250,000. The card operates natively within Geotab's system, allowing fleet operators to manage transactions, approvals and reporting alongside existing vehicle data. It's now available to eligible US fleets using the Geotab platform.

Openreach partners with Geotab to cut downtime and boost safety across 23,000+ fleet.

Openreach partners with Geotab to cut downtime and boost safety across 23,000+ fleet. * 6 October 2026 * 0 * Natalie Middleton Openreach has teamed up with fleet telematics leader Geotab to deploy connected vehicle technology across its fleet of more than 23,000 cars and vans. The partnership aims to significantly boost driver safety and support the company's net-zero ambitions, while slashing downtime. Openreach operates the UK's second largest commercial fleet, and its engineers drive millions of miles every year to build and maintain the country's digital network. Driving is one of the highest risk activities undertaken by Openreach people, making road safety a key priority. Volunteer engineers are already testing the technology in an early adopter phase, helping to validate the user experience and assess how richer vehicle data can build a safer, greener and more efficient fleet. When proved successful, the technology will be deployed across the company's fleet. The data will provide enhanced insights into vehicle performance, helping identify potential maintenance issues before they lead to breakdowns and minimising unplanned downtime. Openreach will also use the data to better understand fuel consumption, vehicle utilisation and opportunities to support its transition to lower-emission vehicles. The driving data is shared directly with drivers via an intuitive app, allowing them to understand their own driving behaviours, self-correct where needed and proactively upgrade their safety skills. The technology has been designed with employee privacy in mind and includes controls that limit data collection outside working hours. Judy O'Keefe, director of fleet management, said: "Its engineers rely on their vehicles every day to keep people and businesses connected. VAN Fleet World has worked with the CWU and Prospect, its recognised trade unions on this trial, which will help VAN Fleet World better understand how its fleet is performing so VAN Fleet World can improve safety, reduce downtime and provide its colleagues with the best possible support. "By giving us earlier visibility of potential vehicle issues and better insight into how our fleet operates, this technology can help create a safer, more efficient and more sustainable fleet for the future." Aaron Jarvis, vice president EMEA at Geotab, commented: "Openreach operates a nationwide fleet in all conditions, delivering the critical connectivity that powers the UK. VAN Fleet World has collaborated closely to ensure its solution was rigorously validated by both leadership and the engineers who depend on driving for their daily roles. "Throughout this journey, Openreach's unwavering commitment to workforce safety and trust has been second to none. This has been evidenced by their deliberate approach to technology selection and the proactive engagement with their drivers which will continue via this trial. Establishing this foundation of trust is just as vital as the insights generated by the data, and we are proud to be a part of their ambitions."
