Requirements

Demonstrable experience with domain architecture, roadmap development, and solution architecture in cross-functional and diverse environments.
Experience facilitating workshops and building consensus around a shared vision.
Experience teaching, educating, coaching, or mentoring stakeholders to reinforce continuous process improvement.
Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks and notations.
A tertiary or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical field.
Experience with formal architectural methods, such as TOGAF.
10+ years of experience in domain, enterprise, solution, or technology architecture in a large organisation; financial industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Map and discover the business capabilities, products, and services required for the assigned domain.
Define strategy and roadmaps for products and services in the assigned domain.
Define products in conjunction with Product Owners.
Provide solution architecture for targeted initiatives as needed.
Ensure that the services defined by the domains in the tower deliver the desired experience outcome.
Work with stakeholders to define desired outcomes and prioritize roadmap work.
Participate in New Initiative Level 2 Triage.
Anticipate the organisation's future position on technology-related trends and outline organisational implications associated with major IT trends.
Create cohesive IT architecture applications for information and platforms, and produce solution outlines and migration paths from baseline to target state.
Oversee compliance with IT architecture principles and use enterprise architecture to obtain and use information relevant to solutions.
Direct discussions of issues and considerations for adopting an open architecture.
Consult on planning, integrating, and migrating IT architecture, and describe deliverables for a specific phase of solution architecture.
Develop, maintain, communicate, and provide IT architecture solutions based on business and technical requirements.
Direct a high-level enterprise information technology architecture.
Provide insight into IT architecture performance measurements.
Assess and communicate the business costs, benefits, risks, and issues of alternative solutions.
Engage with external vendors and service providers as required.

Requirements

We have an opportunity available for a Senior Domain Architect -Principal Consultant to join our Digital Team.

• Mapping/discovery of business capabilities/products & services required for assigned domain.

• Definition of Strategy / Roadmap for products and services for assigned domain

• Definition of Products in conjunction with Product Owners

• Solution Architecture (as needed) or targeted initiatives.

• Ensuring the collection of services defined by the domains in the tower delivers a desired experience outcome

• Work with the stakeholders to define the desired outcome and prioritization of roadmap work
