  • Experience negotiating and closing complex, multi-stakeholder partnership or enterprise agreements, ideally involving shared financial incentives and joint go-to-market structures.
  • Experience managing ongoing relationships with large, complex external partners.
  • Ability to operate with significant ambiguity and limited existing infrastructure, building target lists, narratives, reporting, and governance structures.
  • Ability to engage credibly with C-level and Managing Partner-level stakeholders at large, complex external organizations in deal-making and relationship management.
  • Strong commercial and analytical judgment to qualify and prioritize opportunities by potential value.
  • Strong organizational and program management skills to run recurring cadences such as QBRs, dashboards, and retrospectives.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success without direct authority.
  • Ability to sustain outreach activity and morale through long sales cycles and setbacks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including building a compelling, data-backed partnership narrative and communicating with senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with the accounting technology ecosystem and how large firms evaluate and adopt new platforms.

  • Familiarity with modern SaaS go-to-market and joint solution models.
  • Experience supporting contract renewals, amendments, or expansions with existing partners.

Responsibilities

  • Build and continuously prioritize a target list of large accounting firms with high strategic and commercial potential, using market data, firm signals, and Intuit's growth priorities to sequence outreach.
  • Proactively source and originate new partnership opportunities through outbound prospecting.
  • Develop a differentiated value proposition for each target firm based on its strategic priorities and why Intuit is an appropriate partner.
  • Lead the business development lifecycle from prospecting and executive outreach through qualification, commercial structuring, negotiation, and contract close.
  • Drive complex, multi-party negotiations with senior firm leadership, navigating competing priorities to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Maintain a disciplined, high-velocity pipeline by tracking opportunity stages, protecting prospecting time, and sustaining outreach through slow-conversion periods.
  • Develop stakeholder relationships across firms and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for partnership engagements, ensuring a structured transition from deal close into stewardship.
  • Manage partnership agreement health and ensure both parties meet contract commitments, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Own regular reporting and performance cadences, including QBRs, retrospectives, and dashboards, to track partnership performance and surface insights.
  • Monitor partner adoption and use of Intuit products, identify relationship risks early, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Translate partnership agreements into actionable roadmaps with milestones, owners, and timelines, and hold internal and partner teams accountable.
  • Identify and pursue incremental growth opportunities within existing partnerships, including new segments, products, and joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Support renewal and renegotiation discussions with existing partners in partnership with Legal.
  • Maintain working knowledge of each partner's business, priorities, and competitive landscape to anticipate needs and proactively provide value.
  • Build relationships throughout each firm, from C-suite to managing partners of relevant vertical practices, to advocate for Intuit products.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to structure executable commercial models and joint value propositions during deal structuring and partnership execution.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success to resolve partner issues, deliver joint commitments, and align program execution.
  • Share successful outreach approaches, stewardship practices, market signals, and competitive intelligence with the broader Business Development and Accountant teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience with partners in accounting, consulting, fintech, or SaaS ecosystems.
