Some experience in jewelry production, particularly wax injecting, is preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with wax injection and/or casting tools and equipment is preferred.
Familiarity with quality management systems and tools is a plus.
Ability to handle the physical workload, including prolonged standing, repetitive motions, operating equipment and hand tools with manual dexterity and close visual attention, and carrying or lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
Responsibilities
Assemble multiple wax patterns onto central wax runners to form tree assemblies, ensuring secure and accurate attachment.
Inspect wax patterns for quality compliance before assembly.
Accurately weigh and record wax components to meet production standards.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tree-up and mold-preparation processes.
Inspect metal castings to verify dimensions, surface finish, and overall quality.
Perform non-destructive testing techniques to detect defects in finished goods.
Use precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality results.
Prepare detailed reports on quality trends and non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
Participate in root cause analysis and help enhance quality-control procedures.
Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
Ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout the quality-control process.

The Tree Up - Wax position is responsible for duplicating metal sculptures for Chrome Hearts manufactured jewelry.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time, some sitting, some walking.
