About the Job

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting.
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools.
  • Familiarity with Git and standard version-control workflows, including branching, merge requests, and code review.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts, including build, test, artifact, and deploy stages.
  • Hands-on exposure to Jenkins, including pipelines, Groovy, and shared libraries, and/or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Experience with Groovy or willingness to learn it for Jenkins pipeline development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to pick up new tools quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins using Groovy-based declarative and scripted pipelines, and in GitLab CI.
  • Write and refactor Jenkins shared libraries in Groovy to standardize build, test, and release stages across projects.
  • Build and maintain automation for software builds, regression testing, and hardware-in-the-loop test stations using Python and Bash.
  • Manage and improve build and test infrastructure, including Jenkins agents, Docker-based build environments, artifact management, and pipeline reliability.
  • Help migrate and consolidate pipelines between Jenkins and GitLab CI, improving speed, caching, and maintainability.
  • Develop monitoring, logging, and pipeline-health dashboards to improve visibility into build and test infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot build failures, flaky tests, and environment issues across embedded PetaLinux/FPGA and application software targets.
  • Document pipeline architecture, deployment procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams in a distributed environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Docker containers for reproducible build and test environments.
  • Exposure to embedded Linux (Yocto/PetaLinux) or cross-compilation toolchains.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
  • Personal, open-source, or coursework projects involving automation or infrastructure.

About the Company

Lyte AI

Robotics perception platform with silicon-level fusion

Lyte AI builds an end-to-end perception stack for robots, from custom sensing silicon to software. Its LyteVision platform combines camera data, inertial measurements, and a 4D distance-velocity sensor into a single synchronized data stream at the silicon level. This reduces latency and calibration drift that can occur when stitching together separate sensors. The system is designed for industrial uses such as inspection, logistics, and manufacturing robots, and also aims to power broader Physical AI platforms. The company differentiates itself through its fully integrated, silicon-level sensor fusion and a pedigree of engineers who helped create depth sensing for devices like Face ID and Kinect, backed by substantial funding to scale silicon production and deployments. Its goal is to provide reliable, low-latency robot perception to enable scalable automation across industrial settings.
