About the Job

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Three to five years of experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger accounting, Financial Reporting, or Record-to-Report functions is required.
  • A strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and accounting principles is required.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Cloud, or similar platforms is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Self-motivation and analytical ability, including problem-solving and decision-making abilities, are required.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet strict timelines with limited supervision are required.
  • Time-management and organizational skills are required.
  • Team orientation, including respect, communication, compromise, reliability, knowledge-sharing, and engagement within the team and with other groups, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vendor account reconciliations and coordinate the resolution of vendor invoice issues.
  • Process vendor and employee payments.
  • Prepare local and statutory reports.
  • Prepare and post journal entries for various financial transactions.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and other finance teams.
  • Assist with internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Support process-improvement initiatives and automation projects.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and records for audit purposes.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested.

Desired Qualifications

  • CPA certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in a shared-services or multinational environment is a plus.
