About the job

Requirements
  • You have sold technical products or infrastructure to industrial, data center, energy, or process customers, managing long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders while carrying the sales target.
  • You have sold new products that customers were not previously buying and built the business case for internal approval.
  • You understand hardware pilots, deployment costs, service models, and scaling from one site to fifty, and can work effectively with engineers without being an engineer.
  • You have the runway to commit full-time and are prepared for the grit, iteration, and patience involved in building deep-tech hardware.
  • You do not need to be Singapore-based, but you must be able to be in Singapore often.
Responsibilities
  • Turn early operator interest into paid pilots and then repeatable contracts.
  • Set product positioning and pricing, and build the business case for data center operators to approve the spend.
  • Raise pre-seed and seed capital alongside the CTO and ATUM.
  • Develop sales channels among colocation and hyperscale operators, cooling original equipment manufacturers, and their service partners.
  • Own the commercial side of the business, including defining buyers, pricing, sales approach, and company funding.
Desired Qualifications
  • Existing relationships with data center operators, colocation providers, or cooling original equipment manufacturers would be helpful but are not required.

About the company

ATUM Ventures identifies promising deep-tech technologies from research institutes and universities and builds startups around them in a hands-on, venture-building model. It assembles founding teams, provides initial capital, and offers ongoing operational support such as fundraising guidance, legal and compliance help, and go-to-market strategies. The firm operates mainly in Medtech, Energy, and Advanced Manufacturing and deepens value through technical and commercial due diligence to de-risk early entrepreneurship. Its approach includes market-expansion programs to help Southeast Asian entry, using Singapore as a gateway, and offers corporate partnerships, investor-aligned deal flow, and co-building opportunities. Overall, its goal is to create and scale commercially viable deep-tech companies by turning research into deployable businesses while reducing early-stage risk for founders.

What believers are saying

  • The Dutch-Singapore Deep-Tech Expansion Programme 2026 brings qualified foreign startups into ATUM's network.
  • Enterprise Singapore-supported partnerships strengthen credibility and distribution for ATUM's platform.
  • ATUM's 11 active ventures and 25-plus launched ventures show repeatable execution and momentum.

What critics are saying

  • Raise The Bar 2026 depends on finding TRL 5 founders willing to relocate to Singapore.
  • Portfolio concentration in deep tech exposes ATUM to long development cycles and pilot failures.
  • If venture-building deal flow dries up, ATUM becomes a service firm without defensible scaling power.

What makes ATUM Ventures unique

  • ATUM Ventures combines venture building with pre-seed capital and operational support in Singapore.
  • It targets deep-tech verticals: Energy, MedTech, and Advanced Manufacturing, not consumer startups.

Keiron raises $23.4M Series A to eliminate solder paste printing defects in electronics

Keiron Printing Technologies, based in Eindhoven, Netherlands, has closed a €20.7 million Series A funding round. The company aims to solve solder paste printing issues, which cause over 70% of defects in the €600 billion global electronics assembly market. The round was co-led by Invest-NL, DeepTechXL and Waves Capital, with participation from Ramphastos Investments, ATUM Ventures, Cottonwood Technology Fund and TNO Ventures. Keiron's HF2 LiFT printer replaces traditional stencil printers, jet printers and inspection systems with a single digital, non-contact platform. The technology increases first-pass yield from approximately 60% to above 95%, doubles production uptime, and accelerates programming by 10 times. The solution particularly addresses challenges in next-generation AI hardware, where components with up to 10,000 interconnects exceed conventional printing capabilities.

Keiron raises $23.4M to scale digital circuit board assembly technology

Eindhoven-based deeptech company Keiron Printing Technologies has raised €20.7 million in Series A funding to scale its digital assembly technology for printed circuit boards. Invest-NL invested €6.9 million and acts as lead investor alongside DeepTechXL and Waves Capital. Ramphastos, TNO Ventures, ATUM Ventures, and Cottonwood also participated. Keiron developed a digital production method for applying solder paste to circuit boards, replacing traditional metal stencils. The technology enables direct, precise application without physical tooling. The funding will support customer validation, production scale-up of initial systems, and development of an international service organisation. The company previously received innovation credit from RVO. Keiron's technology addresses growing demand for flexible production as electronics manufacturing shifts towards smaller batches, more complex designs, and sustainable processes for Europe's high-tech industry.
