- A Master’s degree in Audiology is required.
- Current licensure by the Georgia State Board of Speech/Language Pathology and Audiology is required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is required.
- Identify, evaluate, and rehabilitate audiological disorders and hearing loss in adult patients according to clinical competency.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Speak with and assist patients, families, medical personnel, and others with courtesy and patience to provide quality customer service.
- A Doctorate in Audiology is preferred.
- Two years of licensed clinical experience is preferred.
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, previously held certification, or completion of the educational requirements while accumulating supervised experience toward completion of the Certificate of Clinical Competence within one year is preferred.
