Requirements
- Doctor of Dentistry degree from an accredited college.
- Current New Mexico driver's license and auto insurance.
- Required licenses and certifications to practice dentistry, including a New Mexico dental license, Drug Enforcement Administration registration, Controlled Substance Registration, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to use a personal vehicle in the course of employment.
- Ability to submit to the required background check, tuberculosis screening, and drug testing.
- Willingness to travel.
- Working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements as they pertain to dental practice.
- Ability to handle disputes with tact and diplomacy.
Responsibilities
- Render dental services and administer, maintain, and expand primary and selected secondary care and preventive dental care programs in a community health center setting.
- Supervise Dental Assistants, Dental Hygienists, and receptionists.
- Safeguard resources and ensure general equipment and facilities are maintained in the best condition possible.

- Bilingual English/Spanish ability.
- Knowledge of basic budgeting principles and procedures.
- Sensitivity to the socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic composition of the patient population.
- Ability and initiative to gain knowledge of community services available to patients.
