Samsung SDS adds Google Cloud AI to platform after cloud unit hits $1.9B revenue

Samsung SDS has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud, adding Gemini Enterprise to its Samsung Cloud Platform and integrating Google's Wiz security platform with its security operations. The agreement builds on Samsung SDS's fastest-growing business segment — its cloud unit, which saw revenue rise 15.4% to 2.7 trillion won ($1.9 billion) in 2025. The deal broadens Samsung SDS's AI offerings following a December 2025 ChatGPT Enterprise reseller partnership with OpenAI, described as the first of its kind among Korean companies. The Google partnership provides Samsung SDS access to South Korea's regulated government market, where it has piloted workplace collaboration tools in three government organisations since November 2025. The move positions Samsung SDS as an AI integrator for enterprise customers whilst offsetting weakness in its logistics division.
