Requirements
- The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- The candidate must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
- The Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.
- The nurse practices collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
- An additional life support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or another clinical specialty certification is preferred.
- Visual color acuity is preferred depending on the role in specific units.
