GuidePoint Security has launched three new Identity and Access Management (IAM) service offerings: Agentic AI, Identity Verification (IDV), and Non-human Identity (NHI). The services help organisations assess, govern, and secure various identity types throughout their lifecycle. An IDC study sponsored by GuidePoint found that whilst 77.3% of organisations report high confidence in their visibility across human and non-human identities, only 18.5% run continuous identity discovery. Among non-human identities, only 41.5% include bots and AI agents in their identity management programmes. The new offerings build on GuidePoint's existing expertise across identity governance and administration, access management, privileged access management, customer identity and access management, and Microsoft identity. The Agentic AI service establishes control over AI agents, IDV strengthens defences against identity fraud, and NHI improves visibility across non-human identity lifecycles.
GuidePoint Security expands IAM practice with three new services. ET By Editorial Team September 15, 2026 GuidePoint Security, the cybersecurity advisor and services partner organizations rely on to protect what matters most, today announced the expansion of its Identity and Access Management (IAM) practice with three new service offerings: * Agentic AI * Identity Verification (IDV) * Non-human Identity (NHI) Together, these offerings help organizations assess, strengthen and modernize identity capabilities across the identity lifecycle, from onboarding and authentication to privileged access and machine identity governance. Addressing evolving identity risks. Identity fraud continues to climb, while the tactics behind it are changing. A new IDC study on identity and agentic AI, sponsored by GuidePoint Security, found that 77.3% of organizations report high or very high confidence in their visibility across human and non-human identities. However, only 18.5% conduct continuous identity discovery. Among non-human identities, bots and AI agents have the lowest coverage, with only 41.5% of organizations including them in their identity management programs. "The gap between perceived visibility and actual readiness is exactly where risk lives. Organizations often assume their identity and access management programs are stronger than they actually are, and that gap tends to surface at the worst possible time," said Kevin Converse, Vice President, Identity and Access Management at GuidePoint Security. "Our comprehensive IAM services give security and identity leaders the evidence to prioritize investment and close gaps before they become findings, without adding friction for legitimate users." Expanded IAM capabilities. GuidePoint's expanded IAM capabilities build on its established expertise across: * Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) * Access Management (AM) * Privileged Access Management (PAM) * Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) * Microsoft Identity (AD/Entra) The three new offerings include: Agentic AI. Agentic AI services establish visibility, security and control over AI agents by: * Discovering and inventorying agent identities * Establishing trust boundaries * Implementing identity lifecycle governance Identity Verification. Identity Verification (IDV) strengthens defenses against identity fraud across: * Onboarding * Authentication * Account recovery The service uses maturity and gap analysis benchmarked against frameworks including CMMI and NIST SP 800-63. Non-human Identity. Non-human Identity (NHI) services improve visibility, ownership and control across the NHI lifecycle by: * Discovering and assessing non-human identities * Establishing clear accountability * Improving privilege and credential security Supporting identity programs across industries. GuidePoint has already deployed these expanded services with customers across industries including retail, airlines and manufacturing. The services use independent assessments to identify gaps, prioritize risk and help organizations build identity programs that keep pace with evolving threats. GuidePoint's IAM practice addresses the full spectrum of identity and access requirements across workforce, customer, privileged, machine and emerging AI identities. Engagements are tailored to an organization's position on the identity maturity curve and may include vendor-objective technology evaluations. These evaluations help teams compare identity solutions and select options that align with their environment, risk profile and existing architecture.

Astelia now available Through GuidePoint Security. New collaboration gives GuidePoint customers access to Mythos-ready exposure management built on reachability analysis. September 02, 2026 09:00 ET | Source: Astelia NEW YORK, Sept. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Astelia, the AI-native exposure management platform, today announced a new partnership with GuidePoint Security, the leading cybersecurity solution provider that helps organizations make better decisions that minimize risk. AI is changing the economics of vulnerability management. As frontier AI models compress the time it takes to turn a published CVE into a working exploit, the assumptions that let security teams deprioritize findings by severity no longer hold, and the volume of "critical" alerts keeps climbing. Through this partnership, GuidePoint customers can use Astelia to map their real network topology, analyze exploit requirements with agentic AI, and pinpoint the ~1% of vulnerabilities that are actually reachable and exploitable in their environment. Astelia then applies agentic remediation to those reachable vulnerabilities, giving teams evidence-based paths to fix what matters rather than another backlog to triage. "Everything about attacks is getting faster, and no team beats that by patching everything faster. Now that frontier AI models can turn a CVE into a working exploit in hours, severity scores say less and less about real risk, and no one is compressing a 30-day patch cycle across thousands of findings into an afternoon," said Alon Noy (Neuhaus), co-founder and CEO of Astelia. "Reachability analysis is how teams get their footing back. Only about 1% of what a scanner flags is genuinely reachable and exploitable once you account for the real network topology, and the fastest fix often isn't a patch at all but a configuration or segmentation change that cuts the attack path in minutes. We show enterprises the fraction an attacker can actually reach and let agentic remediation resolve it, so teams stop grading themselves on patch SLAs across the whole backlog and start measuring how fast they mitigate what matters." Through the partnership, GuidePoint customers can deploy Astelia on top of their existing scanners. Beyond those scanner findings, Astelia surfaces newly disclosed and zero-day vulnerabilities on its own. Using read-only integrations rather than endpoint agents or active scanning, Astelia maps network topology and correlates each vulnerability's exploit requirements, including network path, privileges, and dependencies, against how the environment is actually built. Once Astelia proves what is reachable, its agentic remediation goes to work on those vulnerabilities, generating and driving fixes that reach beyond patching to configuration changes, segmentation, and compensating controls, so security and IT can align on the fastest practical resolution. "Enterprises don't have a shortage of vulnerability data. They have a shortage of certainty about which findings actually put them at risk," said Mark Thornberry, SVP, Partnerships at GuidePoint. "That's exactly the kind of challenge we help our clients navigate, working alongside partners like Astelia to give security teams evidence-based clarity and a faster path to fixing what counts." "As AI accelerates both attacks and defenses, the winners will be the organizations that pair the right technology with the right partners. GuidePoint has built deep trust with security leaders, and combining that with Astelia's reachability-first approach is exactly the kind of collaboration this moment calls for," said Danielle Wilson, Senior Director of Channels at Astelia. The partnership builds on Astelia's continued momentum. The company recently raised $35 million and has signed multiple large enterprise customers, several of which have already renewed their contracts. About Astelia Astelia is an AI-native exposure management platform, built by former leaders of the Israeli National Red Team to help organizations focus only on the vulnerabilities that are reachable and exploitable in their environment. It maps real network topology and applies agentic AI to analyze what each exploit actually requires, identify the ~1% of findings that represent real exposure, and drive agentic remediation beyond patching. Bright Spot: Dream playset built for Penfield girl battling cancer. by Matt Molloy & WHAM Staff Tue, September 1, 2026 at 6:11 PM Updated Tue, September 1, 2026 at 10:28 PM Katelyn is held by her mother as volunteers build a custom playset at their Penfield home Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026. Katelyn, who is in remission from leukemia, received the playset through a partnership between GuidePoint Security and Roc Solid Foundation. (Photo by WHAM) Ask 13 WHAM anything What role did GuidePoint Security play in Katelyn's playset project? What colors were chosen for Katelyn's custom playset? Why is the playset especially meaningful for Katelyn's family? Penfield, N.Y. (WHAM) - 2-year-old Katelyn Madison is your typical toddler. Her favorite colors are pink and purple, and she loves Ms. Rachel and Play-Doh. But the fun of being a kid took a backseat earlier this year. "This is really important to my family. Kate was diagnosed with a really rare type of leukemia in February of this year," said Kelly Madison, Katelyn's mother. "Less than 12 kids a year get diagnosed with this." Thankfully, Katelyn is now in remission, but she remains immunocompromised. That brings us to Tuesday's project in her family's Penfield backyard, where volunteers built a custom pink-and-purple playset. Pediatric cancer nonprofit Roc Solid Foundation teamed up with GuidePoint Security to turn Katelyn's dream playset into a reality. "It's important to be a part of the community," said Jenni Rupp of GuidePoint Security. "When I saw this, and this was local to us, I have a daughter who's 2 years old, so I felt like this was important." Roc Solid Foundation builds playsets for families of children diagnosed with cancer, creating a safe space for them to play in their own backyard. "It's going really well," Rupp said during the project. "We're crushing it. It's a little warm out here, but we're doing good." For Katelyn's family, the new space brings peace of mind, and a reminder that the entire community is rooting for her. "To all the workers, thank you for doing this for our daughters, for our family and for all the other kids that are going through something similar, different," Kelly Madison said. "I don't want anyone to ever be in this situation, but unfortunately this is where life is, and they make it a little brighter." Two partner companies also contributed $10,000 to Roc Solid Foundation to help make the project possible.
