- Experience with a Laboratory Information System is required.
- MLS (MT) or MLT certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology or eligibility is required.
- The role requires flexibility to work in all laboratory sections as needed.
- The role requires alternating weekends and rotating holidays.
- Perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing in a CAP-accredited laboratory.
- Ensure accurate and timely test results by adhering to quality control and quality assurance methodologies.
- Maintain attention to detail, reference ranges, and clinical relevance.
- Assist with specimen receiving.
- Respond to pneumatic tube requests.
- Handle phone inquiries professionally.
- Provide evening shift coverage as needed from 3 PM to 11 PM.
- Experience in all laboratory sections is preferred.
- MLS (MT) or MLT certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology is preferred.
