- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging program.
- Must be a Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RT), a Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MR), or registered by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (MR).
- Must hold certification in the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- Utilize magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body.
- One (1) year of experience in magnetic resonance imaging.
- Additional Life Support credential, such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
