About the job
- A completed IT education through an apprenticeship, HTL, or comparable qualification is required.
- Several years of professional experience in IT support or an IT service desk environment are required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, and common office and business applications is required.
- Experience administering Active Directory and basic server environments using Windows or Linux is required.
- Good knowledge of network technologies and services, including LAN, WLAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS, is required.
- Experience with ticketing or IT service management systems, such as Jira Service Management or ServiceNow, and ITIL processes is required.
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English are required.
- Service and customer orientation, structured work habits, problem-solving ability, reliability, and resilience are required.
- Provide first-level support for Windows- and Linux-based systems, applications, and hardware.
- Install, maintain, and support PCs, notebooks, peripheral devices, and standard software.
- Administer and support business applications, communication systems, and security systems.
- Assist with network and server systems, including DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.
- Contribute to IT projects and act as the subject-matter contact for specific topics.
- Process and document tickets and maintain the knowledge base according to ITIL-oriented processes.
- Manage IT assets and develop internal and external IT documentation.
- Support onboarding and offboarding, including user accounts, hardware provisioning, and data management.
- Work with second-level support and external IT service providers to resolve complex incidents.
- Experience in asset management and creating or maintaining knowledge bases is advantageous.
