Dyneti Technologies creates software to secure mobile payments through its DyScan SDK. The SDK plugs into a client’s mobile checkout flow and lets users scan their credit or debit card with their phone camera; the app auto-fills card details while a check confirms the user physically possesses the card, helping reduce fraud from stolen numbers. It supports many card formats, including non-embossed, vertical, or back-printed numbers, and processes card data on-device to meet PCI compliance. Integration is designed to be quick and lightweight, keeping app performance high. Dyneti targets businesses that process mobile payments (including large enterprises) and aims to lower chargebacks by more than 50% while boosting payment conversion by speeding up the checkout. The company funds at roughly $2.3 million and operates from San Francisco, with YC, Array Ventures, NOMO Ventures, and Shasta Ventures among its backers.
